What's wrong with the ones others got, mine is great
After reading some reviews I wasn't sure about this one. At this point I am thinking that they may have had QC problems in the past. Right out of the box it took about five minutes to get hot and about 15 to get rid of the new electric heater smell. I have it in a 8x18 bathroom and can feel the warmth 7 feet away. I took half an hour to warm the room up an hour later adjusted the temperature down to keep it from running us out of the room.

Not for cold weather.
This may work for a small closet but not a room or garage. The fan has 1 speed. Slow. The heating element does not get hot so the air being pushed is just slightly warm. It needs a stronger fan and a glowing heat element.

Dura Heat Electric heater works good!
Heat output is good, fan blows a bit low, but that is normal per the owners manual. Fan noise...none, power required...normal. Size of unit is good, functions normally...good value for the money.

Garage Heater
The heater is not as advertised barely produced Any heat

Less heat output than the older model
The older slightly bigger model puts out more heat than this one, noise is acceptable and has a nice look easy to use heats up rapidly and this one is a smaller size.

2 x Dura forced air 120v 5120 BTU units
One of them works great and is definitely outputting the advertised BTU. As you can see by the thermal reading of both the inner and outer coils for each unit. The second one not so much, I'm getting 3/4 of the advertised BTU rating from this one. Seems to have some manufacturing issue. I will be returning the defective unit for one that works properly, I've seen that this is potentially a common issue from the reviews. Will update review with more info on actual functionality... Heater 1: inner coil temp 455F, outer coil temp 291F, 5 of the 6 coil rings reached temps well above 400 degrees. Heater 2: inner coil temp 399F, outer coil temp 151F, 3 of 6 coils rings reached temps just barely above 400 degrees. While theoretical output is about 5,120 BTU/hr each, practical evidence suggests Heater 2โs output is substantially less, bringing combined effective output down to around 7,500โ8,000 BTU/hr rather than the rated 10,240 Taking into account significant heat loss from uninsulated garage doors and a 19F external temperature. The garage gained 3F from 48F over a period of 30 minutes. My garage has roughly 6,000 cubic feet of air so the real world but in this case is 648 BTU per hour for both heaters under my very normal conditions.

Heater very good ๐
Excellent product

Very limited capability.
Doesnโt do the job as advertised. Way too small to heat a garage if under 60 degrees outside.

These units do not blow much heat at all. Not as advertised. I bought two for under my trailer to camp in the winter and they barely heat up. Trying to retern them.

Not much heat. About the same as a hairdryer with less fan.

not enough heat! bought for a garage, not suitable at all!

Fan speed very slow and heat output very poor. I bought a competing product 2 years ago half the price and twice the heat output.

portable,sturdy. Expected more fan speed
