Best money spent on my LB7 Duramax
This cooler fits perfect no modifications needed, came with hose retainer clips amd fittings so just connect and bolt on. Lowered my trans temps 30 degrees consistently. I would recommend this to anyone with a 2003 LB7 Duramax with Allison 1000. Will work with stock transmission lines or aftermarket, my lines were good so didn't change them. 5/8" lines the newer models are 7/8 i believe and not explained that clearly so here it is. Put a wrench around ypur line in front and its either one or the other Cardinal Classics NE-AR

Great upgrade from stock cooler
The stock one looked like it belonged on a prius, this is a great upgrade for a lifted duramax truck running oversized tires, after install you need to add about half a quart of atf to refill the new cooler, the temperature was 92 degrees and i never got over 170 and i would usually be around 200 with 35s and a 6 inch lift. engine runs about 5 degrees hotter which isnt a bad thing for a diesel, helps with a more complete combustion. Took about an hour to install well worth the money if you have a LLY Duramax

Highly recommend this to anyone with a 2005 2500hd Allison Trany.
Installed this in my 2005 GMC 2500hd duramax and last spring. I really wish I had done it in 2005 when I bought the truck. Transmission runs way cooler and I highly recommend this to anyone with this truck.

Absolutely amazing product
For starters I only write reviews when they are warranted (good or bad) so If you are reading this that means I am taking time to write a positive or negative review of a product which deserves it! For reference I installed this on a 2004 Chevy Duramax 2500HD. Prior to installing this my transmission temp was easily between 200 and 220 with nothing in tow. When towing it would get up to 240 (not good). I installed this before our recent trip to Lake Powell (look it up and see what you are missing). We pulled out of Bullfrog at 11am and the outside temperature was 97. Our boat and trailer is just under 5K lbs, 5 adults (four women, I did not ask their weight) in the truck and about 500 lbs of gear. Over the course of 5.5 hours of driving, over some big hills (what could be mountains for some) the trans temp never broke 200. That is absolutely amazing! I would buy this again in a heartbeat. Additionally, it was way easy to install.

A must for older Duramax
Fast delivery. Easy install, direct hook up to my 2005 Silverado 2500HD. Everything that I needed was included. This is a must for the older Duramax pickups. Dropped my transmission temps by 25 degrees. A very well built cooler and direct mount up like oem. There was no modification required. Took less that an hour to completely install. I definitely recommend.

Heavy duty, easy to install
This thing is heavy duty and super easy to install. Fit perfect on my 2004.5 lly duramax. It’s pretty self explanatory but I do wish the directions were a little more clear and maybe images to show what the directions are trying to explain. Regardless, it took very little time to install.

Great, as expected
Looks great, wasn’t really thrilled I had to use 3 1/4” bolts and 4 extra washers... I mean it’s not a big deal.. but for almost 500$... 9/10
