I have the shampoo and conditioner and the bonding oil. My hair is real dry after using these. Do i meed to whole set for my hair to get soft?

You shouldn't need the entire line. Are you also using a deep conditioner once in a while? 4&5 should not be causing dry hair but if yours is you need moisture. Olaplex only heavily addresses chemical damage to the disulfide bonds by bleach, color, etc so it's attention to dryness isn't the brand's main focus. I use 4P, 5, 3, and 6 but i still need to deep condition every 3 weeks or so. You can try #6 as it's a smoothing product and might help dry ends but I'd try a really good deep conditioner like Briogeo's Don't Despair mask (Olaplex has 08 but it doesn't moisturize as well IMO). Also, it could be buildup! 04 is sulfate-free if I remember right, so try a clarifying shampoo and see if that helps with the dryness.

Contains dimethicone? Isn’t that part of the lawsuit that involves the hair falling out?

I use this and it is a glorious shampoo! My hair and all my friends, no way is our hair falling out! Our hair is full and shiny and healthy. We receive comments all the time that are positive. Never used a better high end shampoo!
