We are so impressed and happy with our new 2 camera 7” monitor (RM7764-2HD). We previously had a single camera vtech baby monitor (VM901) that we loved but now we are expecting our second child and wanted to have two cameras. I wish we would’ve just bought this one in the first place.As I was doing research for two camera monitors, I first came across the Babysense 5.5” 1080p Full HD Split-Screen Baby Monitor that had great reviews and purchased that. We were unimpressed with the camera quality and monitor quality. Everything felt very cheap. We hated it didn’t have the ability to turn off the screen and sound and “wake up” when it hears sound. Our son is a noisy sleeper so the first night we used it we slept terribly because the monitor was constantly on.We then purchased the Vetch RM7764-2HD and we love it! Here is why…Large screen: so the 7inch screen is big and I felt a little silly at first feeling like I was using a mini iPad… But this monitor has the capability of doing a split screen with both cameras, so the larger screen is nice to be able to see both kids at the same time. It also does PatrolMode, where it switches to each camera every like 10-15 seconds.Excellent quality: the camera quality comes in super crystal clear. Both the cameras and monitor have a nice way to them and feel very high-quality.Radio signal and optional app/wifi: this was a big feature for us. When we are at home, we do not like the idea of people being able to hack into our monitors so we like to just use the monitors radio signal to connect. But when we are on vacation, it’s really nice to enable the app. We recently went down to Mexico and had our son set up in our bedroom and then went up on the rooftop using the Wi-Fi signal so we were able to monitor him from afar. Also we had babysitters we didn’t know super well for dinner one night, so I was able to use the app to view the monitor at dinner and check in and it really eased my mind.Screen Off Timer: this is huge! Screen off timer turns the screen fully off and only turns back on once it hears sounds. Instead of just being on the entire night. My husband and I are both light sleepers and my son moves around and makes sounds throughout the night so this is the most important feature for us. Like I said in the beginning, we purchased a monitor that didn’t have this feature and the monitor was on all night and we slept terribly.Overall, if you plan on having more than one child, I would highly recommend buying this monitor!

I thought this was going to be a frivolous purchase. My mother has dementia and the monitor system is for her. It was simple to set up each camera with the wifi so that I can have it on my phone. I can go anywhere and check on my mother and the videos are super clear. My brother takes the actual monitor with him when I'm not home and he's so pleased with it. I paid a great price for this system .

DO NOT BUY. This does not work well and came with a lot of issues. especially when you need it most.I purchased this in October 2024 to replace my old vtech single camera since baby #2 was due Soon. I set it up in December for my toddler. Set up was easy but by March 2025. Only 3 months of use you already had a host of issues before my second baby was born!!!!!Poor connectivity. Very soft sound even at the highest sensitivity and volume compare to the previous vtech camera I had. The night mode is glitching so it toggles between night mode and day mode make a lot of clicking noises keeping me and my toddler awake as can be heard from the camera itself. I have to turn off night mode for it to be quiet however I cannot see my child. I tried unplugging the camera but a few weeks later the issue returns.Now we are in May and the charger has completely stopped working/charging the monitor screen. Not to mention the battery life is very short when not plugged in. I have to use another charger to use it but it is not holding the charge as before. Now the icing on the cake is the antenna broken. All this after only 4 months of use!!!!!!! It’s driving me crazy. DO NOT BUY. POOR PRODUCT. My first tech single camera was much better and clearer where I can see baby breathing. This one is far less superior and has too many issues. If I was living in the US I would have retur ed this lonnggg time ago.After baby was born set up second camera. More connection issues and short battery life.I repeat. Do not buy. I will be trying another brand next purchase.

I upgraded from my single cam VTECH setup to this dual cam one when I had my second baby. I love that I can use either the handheld monitor or my phone, and switch between direct connection or WiFi as desired. Picture quality is great, settings for the app and the handheld are great. Setup is really straightforward.The only hiccup I’ve ever come across is just needing to power cycle the cameras sometimes as they’ll disconnect via WiFi sometimes.Photos reflect picture quality seen in-app. Camera is roughly 3ft above the top of the crib and bassinet, mounted to the wall.

We bought our first dual camera set of this model in 2021. I love the patrolling options between my two kids rooms, the auto wake up screen so it isn’t constantly on while they are sleeping but activates when they make noise, the 360 of the rooms, the zoom (now upgraded to x8 instead of x4 of my original), the lullabies, and the overall clarity of the cameras.I tried to get two different models from vtech that were less money and my biggest gripe was how zoomed in those cameras were vs these cameras being able to see the whole room. The monitor can reach all spots on my property of an acre.The reason it doesn’t get 5 stars, yet, is because enabling the WiFi option on the old set would mess with the connectivity of the secure line and I used to have to re-establish the camera and monitor connection. I eventually gave up using the WiFi and app and then had zero problems with connectivity. So if the WiFi part is important to other buyers, at least on my old version, then you might want a different one. I did connect it again so if I don’t have the same issues I will update my review.
