The Fraud of the Century
Coming back from PR after Fiona, I realized I forgot to buy Brazo Gitano which is produced commercially in Mayaguez by two mayor Bakeries; Franco and Ricomini. I went online and couldn’t find Franco but did find Ricomini here, so I ordered two. What a Fraud! There’s no Cream Cheese and only the smell of Guava Jelly on these two. Whomever is producing these fake products, is Killing the prestige and good name that Ricomini worked so hard to build, even if it’s Ricomini itself!! Turn around from this insanity and give people the same quality we taste in the Island. This is nothing short of an embarrassment, a joke and a mockery of the real candy and I’ll make sure Ricomini themselves know what’s going on here.

Satisfied With Repeat Orders
I usually order three or more of these at a time either the Guayaba (Guava) rolls or the Guayaba Queso (Guava with Cheese.) The rolls are about 2.5 inches in diameter and 8 inches long. Basically a delicious pound-cake like confection wrapped around the guava and cheese filling. I slice them into 0.75 to 1 inch slices, allowing one slice per person per evening. We've been eating them with milk, but I suspect they would go well with coffee or tea, also. A delightful desert!

Very delicious but the box was bent and broke my cake
It was delicious just like I remembered when I was a child. I ordered because I don't have easy access to buy it or find it in the United States where I live now for 20 years I saw it and was extremely excited to buy it. But was very sad when my cake came broken I give it a 4 stars because the flavor was amazing.

I love it
First time I ordered one got it quick but the box was a bit flat on one side. 2 nd order the box was good but the cake was a bit dry. 3rd order the cakes we're crumbling due to dryness definitely not tasty at all. 4th order was great. I wish they keep the flavors, freshness and delivery constant. I will continue to buy them because my family loves it. We only hope they come fresh and not so dry in the future but definitely hoping they arrive like the first order quickly.
