I did not buy to cut meat. I bought this to cut foam for crafting things and it works so well. I’m sure it’d cut meat well as well but that’s not what I needed it for. It’s easy to use and fit my needs perfectly. I would buy it again but I haven’t had a need for a new one since this one is still working. Because I was cutting foam I did have to pull the blades or and clean it but that’s normal.

I have an older Proctor Silex carving knife with the power button on the top. This configuration makes it difficult to use so I purchased this slightly smaller knife for cutting homemade bread. It works beautifully. Having the power button under the knife so it can be pushed easily while cutting makes all the difference. In terms of quality, it's just fine for the price and the intended use. I have no doubt it will perform perfectly for slicing a ham or turkey when the time comes. Even better, the longer blades from my old model fit this one. I agree with other posted reviews - if you want a heavy duty knife to cut foam - buy a bigger knife or something intended for that purpose. This knife is fine for kitchen use and will last a long time.

It's may not be the best in class (I suppose) but it does what it's supposed to do. I really don't need an electric knife but thought it would be handy during the holidays and it did a satisfactory job. But.. My daughter LOVES IT! She uses it on everything. Bottom line it's worth a try..

I haven't used it yet but ease of use, ease of cleaning, gift value, safety, fit, and sharpness.

To think I could have had this decades ago 😣. Live and learn. Just really glad I have it now. Love the easy design for one. Worked like an absolute charm! My first task? Cutting a full size foam mattress pad into several cushions. I have to admit I really didn't know what I was doing but I measured and marked the foam (was afraid at first to push the button) but once I did I could not believe how fast and easy it was. It was easy to stay on my marker lines. I cut them quickly, accurately and evenly. It fit in my hand perfectly. From here on out I will always have one of these in my life. Definitely recommend! Next project??? Cutting meat or bread 😋

I bought this knife for cutting upholstery foam into cushions. It works great! The cut is clean and smooth and fast. The blades are not super long, but they will easily cut 4” thick foam.

I have had no issues with this knife, i was using it to cut a lot, and i mean a lot of foam, 4 inches, to a half inch thick form for hours straight, making furheads over a few days. It got warm at best, so it was comfortable in my hand. I thought with the open blades, it'd be rather dangerous, but i found as long as i didn't point it toward me, there really wasn't a risk of hurting myself. The rounded tip was nice for safety, but you can't stab something with this, which did make it odd for foam cutting, but a razor blade made that not an issue. It's a great product for what i'm using it for.

Doesnt do a great job and has a hard time getting thru crust- just not what its built for I dont think. But havent used it on meat yet but I think it will do great

I use it to cut my homemade bread, it's great! So cheap too can't go wrong. I'd love to not have to keep my finger on the on button though, that is the only thing I feel uncomfortable while using. I don't think my wrist could take a long time using it but for a loaf of thick bread that's fine.

Love it! I have always had trouble cutting fresh baked bread till now. I also like cutting roast beef and pork with it. Nice and sharp for now after using it for 3 weeks. This knife is exactly what I wanted. A cordless model may be my next investment, as it would be great to take along when camping or having a picnic.

It was just less than 3 minutes of using the new knife to cut a loaf. It already started to smell like burned and got very quickly hot. This is one of the worst purchases I did.
