It works so well, flies make reservations to get to it
I live in a regular home, but all of a sudden I was having a fly issue - not an abundance, but enough to be aggravating. And being in cat rescue, this did not bode well for anything breakable in the house when said cats see the fly as a toy or prey. However, there is NO fault with this product. If you want to catch flies, attract them to this bait, believe me, they will come. It does what it says it will do. I had purchased the 4 pack, one for the front room, kitchen and outside the patio door. Then I noticed a scent/odor near my desk; it was the trap....not bad mind you, but noticeable and for me, unpleasant. So I moved it to the garage where my trash can and recycling container were housed. Then just a few days later, I checked the one outside the patio door....dead flies were easily an inch deep in the liquid. A couple hundred? And live ones flying around inside waiting their turn to dive into the pool of killer to end their lives, it is that compelling. I thought 'Wow, this stuff is amazing!' Then went to the garage to see what was happening there. A couple of very large horse flies greeted me in tiny little tuxes and told me to step away from the containers and I wouldn't get hurt, I had to wait my turn in line just like everyone else did. I felt, in an enclosed 2 car garage, I had to fight my way back to the door and get in before I let yet another fly inside. It was like a S. King movie. Does this product attract flies? Hell yes it does! Once you mix the potion up to the 'fill line' (which really isn't high at all), it's like flies everywhere in the area send out invitations, even to neighboring states, to come and partake of the incredible deliciousness. You suddenly have more flies that what you had in the first place due to the 'word of mouth' communication by these insects because it's that good. They ALL are drawn to it, like they want to partake and kick the bucket. It's incredible. Do not use it inside your home; there is an odor, slight, but it can be off-putting, and of course, there is the side effect of actually attracting more flies then you had prior. Nor use it in your garage near the trash containers because ...the same will happen. No enclosed, smaller, places. I'm thinking barns or up in trees if you are camping. But if you want to catch flies? This. This product will be your best friend.

REMARKABLY EFFECTIVE...Place at Perimeters of Yard and/or Living Spaces...5 Stars!
The Victor M380 Fly Magnet traps are the most effective method I have discovered to rid my yard of blowflies, fruit flies, and gnats. Simply: 1).open the bait pouch 2).empty the powder contents into the container 3). add water to the fill line 4). replace the lid 5). place in a strategic location in your yard! .....The flies are attracted within minutes to the container. The individual quart size traps will last from a week to a month depending on the size of your yard and insect population. These traps fill quickly for us. Mine last an average of two weeks before I have to dump the contents and re-bait the traps. My successful strategy has been to keep separate traps in strategic corners of our yard. We keep them within 100 feet of our kitchen door wall and garage door, which happen to be main points of insect entry into our home. Thus far it has worked far better than expected. There seem to be no flies in our backyard now, although I notice our fly traps rapidly filling day by day. Although it is possible to use these traps indoors, I recommend against it unless they are hung in a barn, shed, or an outhouse. The traps smell like feces and are therefore not good for living spaces! For indoor spaces, one of the electric traps with ultraviolet lightbulbs, and/or clear window or ‘sticky’ transparent fly traps placed discretely along windows that receive sunlight are more appropriate. I hope this review helps. The Fly Magnet traps have not rid our yard of flies completely, but have come surprisingly close to this lofty goal. 5 stars for a product that does what it claims.

They Work! (But so stinky).
This product caught 1000s of flies. Truly. I didn’t know so many flies were even out there. They do smell like fish bait so make sure you put away from where the people are. I’ve even seen them at a few outdoor restaurants. Oh, they are reusable for a while. We will purchase again.

Fly Trap works great
The Safer Brand Victor Fly Magnet works incredibly well and is perfect for farms or backyards. We raise chickens, and these traps caught an impressive amount of flies, definitely helping keep the population under control. They’re easy to set up, simple to dispose of when full, and convenient to refill. A huge help during fly season and something we’ll continue to use regularly. Highly recommend!

Works well
This product draws dozens and dozens of flies into its container. Easy to set up. The minute you place it somewhere safe (from kids and animals), the flies start going into the container. It should be placed away from food or the congregating area outside. It does have an unpleasant smell. But I have no problem with that because it works so well.

Good News / Bad News
3 stars as the product does collect and trap flies at an amazing rate! It does work. Only 3 stars due to i believe that it draws flys in that otherwise would not be in the yard. As well as it really smells VERY bad after a couple of days.

Amazing fly trap, beyond anything I have ever seen
Have a fly issue near an outdoor garbage can, they join our cookouts in droves. Haver tried several traps over the years to little or no success at all. Saw these and decided to give it a try. A food based, non toxic bait, convenient bottle, easy to handle and empty/refill ( a nasty job to be sure, some just put the whole thing in a ziplock and hang a new one). So, pour a 12 gram bait in the bottle, add warm water and swirl. Location is important, so be sure to follow directions closely. the next morning, the bottle had about an inch of flies in it, I had to swirl the water to drown them all, and it says to keep adding water as needed, I would say once a day... (No pesticide, the bait attracts them and they drown in the water) By the end of that 2nd day the bottle was full, I swirled again to make sure they were dead and poured them down the toilet. I have since started pouring them in our salt water canal and the fish go nuts! The picture is that bottle after about 36 hours and you can see how full it is.. We now cook out at will, have had 1 fly show up at the grill... I have never seen a fly trap work this well. Ordered the 4 pack, but only use 2 for now. You will need the additional baits so order them at the same time. I got 9 baits for $31. Pricey, but it works! I noticed that the gallon bottle and the quart bottle both use the 12 gram bait packet, so I started using half a packet per bottle, noticed no difference in the fly count so that helps the cost quite a bit, By the way, the 5 stars for scent is from the fly's perspective...it stinks to high heaven, but that is what makes it work so well
