I purchased this fire proof bag for my family's emergency binder that houses all our super important documents. The binder is a standard 3" and by the dimensions listed, the binder should fit with no problems. Well, it didn't. The real problem lies in the zippered opening. Because of how it is designed you cannot fit something that is actually 3" wide into the bag. The opening is too small and stiff to allow for that width to be put in. Also, the zipper was super poor quality and not working when my bag arrived. Even if it had, it seemed that it would have only lasted for a few openings before giving out. I returned the bag and opted for a higher quality (and better described) fire proof bag.

This portfolio expands to hold a lot. It’s an attaché rather than an envelope. We like the idea of having important documents in one place to we grab and take with us if need be. It’s made well and looks water resistant. The fiberglass is protected so it didn’t cause skin irritation when we put things in it. This is just what we wanted.

Our relatives lost so much in the North Carolina flood that might have been saved in your protective case. Photographs are irreplaceable. So are many legal documents. Getting their home back together will require all sorts of paperwork. They were happy with your product.

I was looking for a way to keep all my important documents safe, in one place, and easy to grab and go if needed. This document bag fits that perfectly. It has six smaller pocket slots for things like social security cards and IDs, and three bigger pocket slots for things like passports or jewelry. The main big pocket easily fits birth certificates. The bag fits at the bottom of my file cabinet for discrete storage.

This is the perfect solution for keeping all that important paperwork like tax records, paystubs, titles etc, even photos, CD's and photo's safe to be prepared for disasters like floods and fires. I am impressed with how much can fit and highly recommend to anyone! Its always a good idea to have these kinds of things handy to grab in a protective bag like this just in case you have to evacuate. Its not uncommon these days.

I already have papers in the safe but it needs better organization so I put everything sorted in an accordion filing folder, and then placed it in this bag. This bag has one big compartment. Of course I haven't tested it but it seems durable and easy to grab if ever in an emergency.

I haven't thrown this bag into a fire yet to see if it holds up, but curious at time to try and see how it does. I have done the safety deposit bank box and if you need something you have to get it at that time. Then also have the fire proof safe for important papers. Then decided that it would be good to have copies of papers that I needed in case something happened to the fire proof safe. So this is my back up copy and a backup storage device for documents. It does hold a lot of papers and yes trying to stuff a notebook through the opening is a snug fit,

Out of 4 different fireproof/waterproof bags this is the very best. Good quality zipper & velcro and coatings. Interior organizational pockets are a real benefit. Very faint odor when first opened (some smell strong after days). Highly recommend though did not test the promise re fire and water.
