BYTECH Groove Portable Wireless Speaker

I just bought mines yesterday. So far so good!!! It allows me to adjust the volume perfectly. The sound is very clear. It feels good in my hands and it's sleek and attractive in any spot placed.I love the convenience of being it being assigned to my sewing room. However; it can be placed anywhere throughout the home.I will be buying one with a remote in the very near future ... FIESTA :)

The bytech speaker is a Bluetooth or Aux enabled speaker. (there does exist inlets for usb or transflash card but I don't know anyone who uses one.) The first aspect I would like to talk about is the feel. I do admit that it does feel good and satisfying to the touch and the grill feels nice too. The edges are a little sharp but nothing that could actually hurt someone. The feet of the device also do a good job of keeping the speaker in place on a flat surface. One very frustrating part of the design is the blue LED in the center of the speaker. This light can be vary bright. I can not look at this light strait on in a dimly lit room. A good fix would be to make small little lights on the back or on top to make the speaker not so glaring to look at. The buttons will not make sense at first. To raise the volume of the speaker you need to hold down the button for 1-2 full second before the volume goes up. To make the product more user friendly, you should make a single tap the volume up/down and make the long press the "next" or "back" feature. The pairing process using Bluetooth worked fine on my phone. Not seamless but I have had to deal with worse. Now for the audio. I think this product would have good purpose as an outdoor party speaker. It gets louder than your phone, but that might just be the only reason to use this over the speakers that are on your phone. My iPhone 7 has better audio quality than this speaker. The audio is not unlistenable but a comparison side by side will inevitably show its flaws. Someone mentioned that the speaker had poor battery life. Well when I tested this unit, I got about 2 hours and 45 minutes of constant play time. This was done at a indoor volume, It might become worse if you played it louder. I would also like to use the use of a more standardized cable. The only device that shared this cable format is my Ti-84 Plus CE. The device also makes vary loud sound when you max out the volume put the volume on the lowest setting, turn it on, and when it connects to a Bluetooth device. These noises are so loud that it can be quite off putting and aggravating to some.

If you're the average listener I guess, battery life is trash..but hey 10-12 bucks I guess..returning

The blue flashing light when it's on is incredibly annoying and I had to tape a piece of paper over it. The noise when it turns on is grating and unnecessary. The battery life is terrible and when I tried to charge it, none of the cords plugged into any charging port, outlet, or any other solution I could think of. The USB port on the speaker is different than the actually cords provided. At least I have new aux and charger cords for my phone.

Will not pair. Will not hold a charge. The only way I can use it is if I keep it plugged in to a charging block and play from a device that is physically attached to the unit. Don't waste your money.

Don't pair after 2 weeks of using- useless
