We live on 7 acres! 2024 has been soooo bad with chiggers, and other bugs! But we needed a safe way to rid chiggers without hurting wildlife, ect. This worked great- i walked all my normal paths and sprinkled the diatomaceous earth! Before we were totally covered in chigger bites, now we are healing and really only fighting mosquitoes!!! Diatomaceous Earth is great! Will alway keep some available! This large bag was a good price too!!

Great packaging! Easy to use! Natural powder that does kill ants and all kinds of insects and bugs. I used the powder on my dogs and I even gave them drinking water with 1 tablespoon of it. I’ve been using this powder for years for my dogs, my yard, for my garden, and fruit trees. I also coat my dogs coat with this powder to kill any fleas and ticks (eventhough I don’t see any on them, but the summers do get bad with mosquitoes and fleas). Either as a preventive or treatment on dogs. Giving them 1 tablespoon on this powder in a 10 cups of water, mixed, before they drink it, has really help with prevention of fleas and ticks. I heard humans can also take it but it has to be food grade A, USDA and Organic. I hope this review helps some of y’all. Great product!!! Wish it would cost $50 for the 50lbs ($10 per 10lbs), but in fairness, $60 is fine because it’s also free shipping. I should say that it’s a great price if we consider the shipping cost. I use DE to keep opened bags of dog food fresher and pest free by sprinkling about 1/2 cup into a 35 pound bag. As a FOOD GRADE product, it is safe for my furry babies to eat and adds healthy minerals to their diet. It is also great mixed into a paste with a small amount of water and used as a facial mask or cleanser/exfoliator. It is also a major part of my DIY remineralizing toothpaste. A little sprinkled in cabinets can also keep tiny insect pests at bay if they are a problem. What a wonderful, versatile, safe product! This is my third 50-lb bag of the food grade Perma-Guard brand DE purchased in about 5 years. Good product, good price, good brand.

I bought this diatomaceous earth to use in my dogs’ outdoor area. The quality is the absolute best that I have ever used! It was clean, white and soft like flour. As I put it down it did not create a dust cloud of white fog in the air. I do recommend using a respirator (Buddy respirator on Amazon is fabulous!) when putting down diatomaceous earth to protect your lungs from inhaling. I chose to use this product for a natural means of flea control in our yard. Excellent product!

This came in half the time stated. We use this for our dogs and in their kennels to help cut down on intestinal parasites & mites,fleas and ticks as well plus improves their health overall. It helps with skin issues and dietary needs. It is odor free and safe for them to eat. In fact it is good for them to eat and some of them love it. We have a couple that love to dust themselves in it by rolling around in it or coming to us to be dusted with it. We think it helps prevent bugs from biting them and they realize it. Great buy and super fast shipping. Literally in less than an hour from ordering we got a tracking number for it and it arrived in I think 3-4 days when predicted a week and a half.

I’m using this 100% FOOD GRADE DIATOMACEOUS EARTH 50LB BAG for our horses. I give them 1/8 cup twice a day in their feed with water. I’ve been doing this for 8 months and it has kept the fly problem way down-most especially the small manure flies, these are almost non existent. The 50 pound sack is an excellent value. I keep it dry in a covered small trash can. I still have well over a half of a bag and I have 3 horses. So this product lasts a long time. I will definitely keep buying this product. I’m hopeful that the composted horse manure will have the property to make the soil more insect resistant in my garden. That remains to be seen. This product is water soluble and is not dusty to use-if you take a little care when using it. I feel it is quite safe-as I’m not inhaling it. Since I add water to the mix that I give our horses, I’m sure they are also not inhaling it.
