Moisturizing with ovely sheer tint

I originally had the yellow one, now I have the red too. You can see how much the red one coloured my lips in the before and after photos. I have pale skin and it didn’t make my lips much darker than they naturally are. I’m happy with the colour on me, but I think you’d have to put a very thick layer on to achieve anything close to the shade of red their models in the product description have. It doesn’t taste that nice in my opinion, (it reminds me a bit of Vaseline), but as long as you apply carefully it’s fine. A little does go a long way, so for me it’s good value for money. I found the staying-power to be ok, but you’ll probably want to bring it with you in your bag/pocket for top-ups throughout the day if you need it to last a long time. The moisturising effect is alright; it didn’t eliminate all the chapps on my lips but it wasn’t too bad either. I love love LOVE to see cruelty free and vegan products, so these balms are fantastic in that regard. This brand is good quality and has great ethics so I’ll probably be buying Dr Paw Paw again.

I was worried the red would look too much on my pale skin, but it's the ideal subtle amount of pigment for me. If you put a thick amount on, it is more red, but you can use a little amount and it's perfect for a natural no-makeup look. Also, I have sensitive skin and always have dry lips, this product works perfectly for hydration and is not irritating. I should note, the glue sticking the plastic to the cardboard had dried and was half unstuck - didn't appear to be used / damaged and was in date, so I didn't really care.

Not much of a moisture balm. Colour tint is nice just makes my lips more dry.

Very hydrating

I’ve been using this Dr PawPaw as tinted red lip gloss and I’m really impressed. The colour looks natural but still gives my lips a nice rosy tint, and the gloss makes them look soft and juicy without feeling overly sticky. I did go a little heavy with it at 1st and that did produce a redder colour, but as much as I looked ready for a photo shoot with a lollipop, I wanted a natural look so I kept it thin. It’s really comfortable to wear, keeps my lips moisturised. The tint doesnt last very long at the moment though, I'm hoping it might last a little longer with prolonged use. Definitely worth trying if you want a gentle tint and a glossy finish that still looks natural.

Substandard product. Burst on first use, now unable to use. Cannot return item so purchase has been a waste of money.

This balm is really lovely. I wish I could have a blush and lip tint in this exact color! It is not very moisturizing and does end up highlighting the dry skin on the lips, hence -1 star. I personally have very dry lips and it tends to pill, so this might bother some. Still, I really like it. It feels better than having nothing on my lips.
