Just perfect..
The lure of these drums won out over my hesitation to spend the money and I could not be happier with my decision to purchase them.. They provide the sounds that I have longed to hear with my 10,12,16 toms.. The mount is strong but tricky to attach at first.. the two drums come as one piece and not two separate drums.. quite solid actually.. But the best part is the 'pop' I get from them.. I tune them a bit lower than true timbales but it is the sound I was looking for.. Two thumbs up to John Dolmayan I suppose.. the drums are named after him ;)

Awesome Add-on!
Right out of the box, one head needed a slight tuning, but then they were good to go. The timbales are super versatile and work well for fills or latin beats. Cowbell sounds good too; not too ringy. The only thing I would change is the mounting, the whole mechanism can rotate up and down from vertical to horizontal easily (the drums can't be separated), but I would have liked them to have some lateral rotation too to make it easier to squeeze them in next to my high tom. Either way, I found a configuration that works and I'm happy with them.

Great timbales
Great sounding timbales, definitely get your money's worth . The cowbell that's included is horrible . Looks and sounds like something you would get with a kids toy. I have an array of LP'S bells and I thought I was getting something of that quality. I'm surprised they would attach something so poorly made to their name. Get the timbales but don't expect much from the bell. One star left out because of the bell

Incomplete set
It does Not include mounting directions, and is missing the mounting rod. All comparable timbales sets come with a stand also. I feel ripped off
