Please stay away from this seller. I purchased a scaffolding work platform from them, and the only positive part of the experience was that the item arrived earlier than expected. Unfortunately, that is where the good experience ended. As soon as I opened the package, it was obvious that the ladder was very poorly manufactured. I did not even need to fully unpack it to see that the welds were rough, the edges were badly finished, and the overall build quality raised serious safety concerns. Given that this is a piece of equipment designed to be used at height, I immediately decided it was unsafe and arranged a return. The return process then became a nightmare. Amazon did not initially register the item as received, and there was no return label available on the returns page. After contacting support, a return label eventually appeared, and I paid out of my own pocket to send the item back. I kept both the postage receipt and proof that the parcel had been collected. After posting the item, I discovered that the seller had provided a completely different return address through the order messaging system. This raised immediate concerns. Why would a seller provide two different return addresses for the same return? I contacted them to explain that I had already returned the item using the address on the official return label supplied through Amazon. Despite this, the seller repeatedly insisted that I send the item to the second address, even though the parcel was no longer in my possession. To make matters worse, Amazon did not resolve the issue. My refund claim was denied on the grounds that the seller claims the item was not received and that I should have purchased additional insurance and paid for a signed delivery service. This seems extremely unfair given that I followed the return instructions provided and used the official return label. As a result, I have lost the item, received no refund for the purchase, and have not been reimbursed for the return postage either. The combination of a poor-quality product, conflicting return addresses, and the refusal to refund has left me feeling completely scammed. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid this seller. Buy elsewhere and save yourself the stress, expense, and frustration.
