does this unit have a replaceable filter?

Hello Norm, This unit has what is called a pre-filter, that needs to be cleaned every so often by by wiping away debris from filter then rinsing with water and drying thoroughly. This model does not have a HEPA filtration system or other filter that would need to be changed. If you need to order a pre-filter it is part number XLP-94. How long warranty is it

The Xlerator XL-BW ECO has a manufacturer's 5 year warranty.

Do they sell a mounting plate this will mount to? I need to cover an old recessed hand dryer. The hole I need to cover is approximately 11" x 13"

Unfortunately a back plate is not available. The only option recommended by the manufacturer Excel would be to recess the hand dryer into the wall with the recess kit 40502.

Does not heat

Please know that this specific echo dryer does not heat. No where in the description does this mention this. I only found out after install that the unit does not heat. Fairly disappointed. In the fact it’s going in a clinic.
