Kanu Surf Women's Solid UPF 50+ Rashguard

This is possibly the best thing ever invented. This swim shirt has solved so many issues at once. I really may never wear a regular swimsuit again. I normally wear a large/X-large tshirt and I'm a DD bra, so I figured I'd order both sizes and see which fit best. Honestly couldn't tell much difference between the large and X-large, but both fit nicely. The vneck doesn't go too low that I'm worried about my boobs escaping. It dries so quickly, way faster than a swimsuit. No more struggle to put sunscreen on my back. Extra protection for the extra pale. I love everything about this. Clearly.

I purchased this rash guard only for its sun protection properties. I have an upper body surgery coming up and cannot afford to have any skin damage on my chest area. But I also had a vacation planned that involved sun, sand and ocean. I had to have a solution.This item arrived in time to head to the coast with me and it saved my skin. 4 days on the beach, on a stand up paddle board and during a Parasailing tour and this thing performed like a champ. When I visited my plastic surgeon upon return we was surprised to find out that I had spent 4 days in the sun and still had no burn or damage. It did exactly what I hoped it would do.It fit as described. A quick hand wash each evening and then wring out and hang to dry and this was ready to go again the next day. I won't be taking beach or lake trips without it again.Great value for the money.

Even though I'm fairly small, I've long hated wearing swimsuits. They're too uncomfortable, too expensive, and too revealing. When my daughter asked if I knew of the existence of swim clothes, I jumped. What better way to enjoy water activities without exposing my grandma body? I bought this shirt and two others (various brands), plus two pairs of swim shorts (with 9-inch inseams), plus my daughter and son-in-law gave me a pair of swim sneakers. When I wear these swim clothes, I feel like I'm dressed, which is my goal. Such a relief! This particular shirt I ordered in large (based on other people's reviews), although I typically wear mediums, and it fits like a medium on me. The color I ordered, Royal, is by my definition a bright turquoise, not royal, but I expected turquoise based on the Amazon photo, and I like it fine. If you wish you could go swimming, boating, etc., without feeling like you're exposing a body that's no longer young and taut, try swim clothes. They make summer a lot more fun.

Fits as expected. I wear a medium/large top depending on the brand. for this, I purchased a large color coral. I measure 39" around my bust. I am 5'5". This shirt fits as I expect a large would fit. Loose enough to not squeeze on my mommy fat, but not so loose I'm swimming in fabric. Perhaps going with a medium would have been better for swimming purposes though, so it does cling more. Now, about the thickness of the fabric. Mine is a medium weight. My bikini top is red with white polka dots, and I can see the polka dot pattern through this rashguard. I don't think that a less obvious pattern or color would be visible through the fabric, but red with white polka dots is definitely visible through this.

This brand has two fits: the slim fit and looser/regular fit. I went with the regular fit and sized up. The body part was not fitted or baggy and fit across the bust fine, but the arms were still too snug. I definitely have chubby arms, so if you don't and like a looser fit--this is great. This top is definitely a "women's fit/cut", which I usually always dislike (personal preference). If you are bigger busted than me it will definitely be tight and you may want an XL since I ordered a L.Nice quality, vibrant color as shown online :)If it helps: I wear a women's Medium on top and bottom or size 8-10. I'm 5'5" and 150 lbs, bra size is 34 C-D.

I really like the color and the fit isn't too bad. It is just short. It does come close to how it fits on the model. I just prefer something a bit longer so that it doesn't raise up if I lift my arms. It is a thin material, so you definitely need a swim suit top of some sort underneath. There isn't a built in bra nor is it lined. I think it is true to size, but just too short for my liking. I ordered my normal size and it fit as expected in that way. It wasn't long enough to not raise up when lifting and moving my arms. So, I decided to buy a couple of longer ones on the Athleta site.I do think this is an okay rash guard if you don't mind it being short and thin. The color is brighter in person which I love. I do love the fitted, but comfortable style of this rash guard. The price is affordable and I know one of my daughters will use it. I'm not sure I would buy this again unless they made the shirt longer. Then it would be a decent RashGuard.

Bought this to use on a snorkeling trip to protect from the sun. The fit was a little loose but not too much that would impact swimming. It worked well for preventing sunburn. The reason that it only got 3 stars is that it didn't dry very quickly and the material didn't feel much different from a regular workout shirt. My husband bought the male version of this shirt and even though we wore it for the same length of time his shirt dried in a few minutes while my shirt was still wet and needed to be hung for several hours before being dry completely.

I'm a size 14 and I like my Rashguards to fit bigger on me so I usually will order an XL. I decided to order the XXL because I wasn't sure and figured . . . bigger better than smaller for me. The Rashguard arrived today and the XXL is the same size as a Large. The quality of the Rashguard is very light material so I hope it holds up this summer. The price was good so I ordered three, I guess you get what you pay for.

I bought this shirt in white for an upcoming cruise. While the shirt protected by back and shoulders from the sun it also turned yellow around the chest, neck, arms and back. I believe it is likely a result of using sunscreen (which was necessary in the Caribbean sun). I have washed it twice but the shirt is stained now rendering it useless. I am very disappointed.

I look naked in this Rashguard... if it had a print and/or was perhaps a different color it would be better... it fits well and I might wear it if I have to and can get over the feeling of embarrassment... if you are at all body conscious I would go for something else but otherwise it is perfectly fine... I haven’t worn it in the water yet...

When everyone else in our pale Canadian party suffered redness on day 2 under the Hawaiian sun, I thanked my Kanu shirt for keeping my shoulders and back safe. It was a dream to swim in and dried quickly once I got out of the water. Worked in the ocean as well as in the pool.

This top has a v neck rather than a collar so it doesn't have a problem with the other Rashguard top I purchased at the same time. The colour is very flattering and the quality of the material seems high. Based on the reviews, I purchased a large where I normally wear a medium. The large does fit loose but I'm happier with a top that flows nicely rather than skin tight. Was so pleased that I've placed an order for a second one in the navy blue colour.

I was able to wear this rash guard on my recent vacation to Maui and it did everything it was supposed to do. It kept the sun off my back while snorkeling and protected me when boogie boarding etc. The problem is after two washes the stitching on one of the arms is completely failing. I looked at returning it but it seems as though I’m past the time limit for that.
