I looked mine over and find nothing to identify where it's made. I seem to remember other reviews saying they don't believe it is US made. It holds one or (carefully) two small pipes with 6" length and 2" tall bowl along with a few stem cleaners in the bottom compartment. Separate zippered compartment for tools and fire makers. Top compartment is vinyl lined for the aromatic vegetation. My example has good assembly, decently finished and I consider it a rather rare value.

How much tobacco does the pouch hold?

Let me put it this way, if you don't keep a pipe in there, you can hold a fair amount. A pipe (broken down) in the pipe compartment and you can have maybe room for a dozen bowls. Therein lies the question, the size of the bowl. As we all know different pipes can hold different amounts of tobacco. I keep one pipe in the pouch, along with filters, tamper and matches/lighter. With the pipe and accessories I have room for about a dozen bowels of tobacco.

Does the tobacco pouch keep the tobacco fresh or does it dry out?

It keeps it moist in the short term (1-3 weeks). Anything longer than that and I start noticing it drying out. Typically you won't be storing tobacco in the ouch long term, but I've found that sticking a boveda or similar moisture pack in the pouch is plenty effective in keeping it moist almost indefinitely.
