My youngest nephews, 6 and 8, love their wooden train sets. I’ve given many trains, track sets, bridges, buildings, etc, as gifts over the years. The Brio pieces are consistently the highest quality and most loved by both boys. Each of them received the Signal Station as a Christmas gift. The boys are in different states, but they reacted to the same feature: the changing of the signal from red to green when the track is switched. Love brio products. My kids used these 30 years ago. Now our grandson. Interlocks work well. Sturdy and stable. My kids spent hours a day playing with their sets. Two boys and a girl and they still look relatively new

This is a fantastic piece to add to any wood train set. I was recently introduced to Brio and have literally purchased 3 different trains and 3 accessories in a 2 week time frame. Great quality and my toddler son is having a wonderful time with this signal station. My only complaint (but not a Brio issue) is that it does not work with several Chuggington trains (Wilson, Brewster, Koko). Otherwise, a must as it is very entertaining.

Great addition to my 4 year olds growing train set! She really likes to switch the tracks back and forth while I drive the train through. The quality is great as it always is with brio products. 1 thing I wanted to point out, that I for some reason got stuck in my head, the red and green traffic lights do not light up. I think the picture on Amazon makes it appear lit. It's not, just painted green and red.

My 3 year old grandson has enjoyed using this little station; it's been fun to hear him say "Red means stop, green means go." It's simply but sturdily made- no electronics. It comes with a little man, too, which attaches to the railings. My grandson doesn't care about him, but my granddaughter likes him!!
