Bostitch BTFP72333 Industrial 1/4-Inch Series Swivel Plug - 1/4-Inch NPT Male Thread

I bought these to make it easier to use my air compressor driven nail guns. The swivels work very well and help me to manage the hose while working. I have one of these on each of my nail guns.

This swivel was a suggested add-on when I bought a pneumatic caulking gun. It seemed a good idea since it would allow more freedom of movement as I worked a seam. I have a bunch of Bostitch air tools and felt confident it would be a quality item. I was not disappointed. The threads come pre-doped so you don't have to mess with teflon tape and the swivel does not leak any air at all. It does allow more freedom in movement, and that was my goal. So far, I'm happy with this purchase.

VERY functional! Having a swivel fitting on my pneumatic tools is essential and this is a SUPER solution. The swivel feature keeps the air hose from tangling and out of the way in tight spots - this is a REAL plus when on a ladder working over head hanging soffit. I really like the thread seal provided by Bostitch. It does require a little extra force when installing but, the seal is solid and does not leak. I now have 5 of these in service and will order additional ones as needed.

I don't know how I got along without these swivel connectors. Even though it's only a small amount of movement, it makes the tool feel so much lighter than with a regular static connector. This Bostitch connector in particular was purchased to be used with BOSTITCH N66C-1 1-1/4-inch to 2-1/2-inch Coil Siding Nailer with Aluminum Housing . I have used it to side a new 10x10 shed, as well as a 22x22 two story addition on my house, and I have had no issues with leaking so far. I don't baby my tools; this connector hit the concrete floor from a 10 foot ladder and it kept on kicking with no leaks. It still feels solid when I connect it to the hose and I sometimes hang the tool using the hose while I grab something else and haven't had issues. If you are still using regular static connectors on your air tools I highly recommend this product.

The Bostitch swivel is a nice addition to me tool kit. It is only for a pretty specific purpose of giving me a little extra dexterity with my air tool. Usually I use it with my blower and occasionally my sprayer. The swivel is well machined and the motion is relatively smooth, I ordered several and one swiveled slower than the others but I will oil it. The one problem I've found with the swivel is that because of the swivel mechanism, air flow is constricted a bit. The opening to the swivel is .19 inches measured with my caliper. I try not to use it with my high CFM tools, which unfortunately means my HVLP sprayer. I try to give my sprayer as much air as possible. So overall, I love this swivel but it is meant for smaller CFM tools that need dexterity, such as detail paint sprayers, certain nail guns.

works just like it should, installed it onto a brad nailer. No complaints other than it could of been free hah.

Don't purchase a cheaper product. This one works. It's questionable if others are as durable and built with these same quality standards.

After I installed this on my palm nailer, I had to cut a notch in the nailer case for it to close. It works great.

Great swivel for the air hose; saves effort.
