RLC-085 RLC085 Compatible Bulb Lamp for Viewsonic PJD5533W PJD6543W PJD5232L PJD5234L Projectors

Before I ordered this bulb, I had ordered a much more expensive bulb that came with a replacement housing. That bulb did not work, causing the projector to turn off after less than a minute. So I returned it, and instead ordered this so much cheaper bulb without the housing. Removing and replacing all of the little tiny screws to switch out the bulb turned out to be easier than I thought it would be (some reviewers make it seem like a monumental task; it wasn't). Most importantly, now my projector is shining like new! I had forgotten just how bright and vibrant the picture was when I started using it years ago. It could just be the contrast between the old bulb and the new making me imagine things, but this bulb seems even brighter than the original was when new. Hooray! I highly recommend this bulb.

I gave this two stars solely based on the return policy. I had no issues returning the item and getting a refund. That is worth something if not a transparent review.

Bought this bulb as a replacement back in March, I use my projector once a week for about 2-3 hours, so far so good!

it works fine, but not as bright as original blub at all. Original bulb i could see a little decent with room lights turned on, with this bulb, nope.

I bought this for my ViewSonic PJD5533W which had a blown bulb after several years of use. It was a perfect fit. I felt it was very easy to change out and got my big screen back up and running for movie night. The brightness is definitely better than just before the original failing, maybe better than new. I only gave 4 stars because I don’t know if will give me long lasting performance.
