Wow! I am so impressed by this product. I installed it myself without any assistant to the side of my house to close off the entrance to my carport. Superb product and truly easy to install. Thank you!

Just arrived and it sets up quickly, I mounted the base to a pressure treat 4x4 about 2" inches off the ground to accommodate for uneven ground, connecting pole anchored into a concrete peer block. Works perfectly to add a little privacy for our little patio, and we can retract it for when the wind is strong or trimming around the patio.

Perfect! Exactly what we needed. Hope it holds up!

I always want to see honest reviews, so I'll take this opportunity to list the pros and cons and suggestions of this shade and hopefully provide others with the same courtesy I appreciate. Pros: 1. It's sturdy and stable, definitely provides shade with its opacity. 2. We affixed this to an exterior wall and bolted the post into the concrete. The process was easy, quick and installation was simple and able to be completed by one person with the right tools. 3. It seems durable, even in windier conditions. Today was the first truly windy day we've had since installing, and though it does blow with the wind (pulling it further out of where it's wound) the tension was great still and there have been no issues with sagging or getting stuck. 4. Handle and post seem pretty heavy-duty compared to others we've tried, and the way the handles inserts into the post ensure that even if it blows some in the wind, it doesn't detach and close in on itself, which was a HUGE problem we had with another one we purchased from another seller, and it created a safety hazard. This one has had no such issue. Cons: 1. The only real con I can come up with here is that it is a LITTLE difficult to place both the handle and the base into the pole, and it may be easier if the piece the base affixed to was a bit taller than it is. That said, it's mostly difficult because the tension on the shade is excellent, which is actually a benefit, but it does make this difficult to operate one-handed if you happen to be carrying anything. Suggestion: 1. Be sure to purchase a size that is either exactly or as close to exactly the maximum length that you need (not height, but how far out it pulls put fully). This will help in windy situations, as there won't be as much "extra" fabric for the wind to pull out on a breezy day. Also, as we use this to block wind, sun and dogs from getting into our space, having only an inch or two give by pushing on it ensures that the dogs also can not push up under it to get into our enclosed space when we're trying to keep them off our new outdoor furniture.

Works fine. A 1/2" masonry bit works for the anchors. The post itself leaves a little to be desired, as far as sturdy. It is leaned back on purpose, to make it tight when you roll it out. Saw another complaint about the base plate not welded on square.

Easy to set up and exactly what I was looking for

Easy installation, seems well made enough. Been installed for months but not been able to use due to our life. Would recommend borrowing/renting proper equipment to get bolts into cement (if that is how you are installing it)

We recently purchased a hot tub that we put in our backyard on our deck and needed a little privacy as the street is pretty close to where we’re at. Decides to give this a try so that we didn’t have to build something bigger. Install was straightforward once we figured out where we wanted it and the overall functionality performed as we expected. Unlike some of the permanent solutions we were looking at, the retractable function of this was great to have visibility when we want it.

Schnelle Lieferung und gute Qualität. Die Montage ist recht einfach mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben und Dübeln. Die Anleitung könnte etwas detaillierter sein, jedoch mit ein bisschen handwerklichen geschick ist es kein Problem. Einziges Problem war, dass sie zerkratzt und geknittert war. Habe mit dem Verkäufer Kontakt aufgenommen und das Problem wurde schnell behoben.

Tolle Qualität,einfach anzubringen und lässt sich leicht handhaben.

Erfüllt seinen Zweck und sieht auch schön aus. Nur das verschliessen ist etwas mühselig. Hält nicht immer so auf Anhieb. Obwohl wir sie schon ein paarmal neu Ausgerichtet haben.
