Silent - No tick tick sound - bed light - too bright - use sun control film to reduce brightness
Can be used as a Bed light, provided you apply the sun control film (like we used to apply for the car Window glasses) and use it as a bed light. You can apply multiple layers of sun control film until get satisfied with the brightness I am using this product for years together and without a problem. Also gifted this product to many of my friends. Images attached after applying Sun control film.

battery terminals are missing from the battery compartment
The product I received is defective. The battery compartment is missing the metal battery contacts, so there is no battery connection system. As a result, the watch cannot be powered on. battery terminals are missing from the battery compartment.

5 years and still running without any problems
Bought this clock in Jan 2021 and it is still working great as of Feb 2026. Excellent product and great value for money.
