Crafty Croc Fine Tip Chalk Markers - (Precise 3mm Tip, 4 White) - Erasable Dustless Liquid Chalk Ink Pens, Water-Based, Non-Toxic

These paint markers are long lasting & easy to work with. I've ordered several packs to work on in several large craft projects. I like having different size tips on the markers. The only negative is that sometimes it takes several weeks for the shipment to arrive.

I've used these markers both conventionally (on chalkboard surfaces) and unconventionally (for costuming) and they work great! The first product I used them for was to decorate a globe I painted with black chalk paint. The markers worked really well. I've also used them for signs, using ;large black poster boards. For the signs I used the white chalk markers to outline hand painted letters. Wasn't sure how they would work over the acrylic paint but they worked perfectly! As I usually outline letters for these kinds of signs with Sharpie, I'm happy to report the challk markers work even better! I've now purchased colored liquid chalk markers from CraftyCroc for this very purpose. I also needed to find a way to add white pinstripes to black vests being used in a musical production. After trying standard paint pens, hand painting with a brush and acrylic paint and being very unhappy with the uneven results, I decided to try the chalk markers on the fabric. With a large quilt ruler and the liquid chalk markers I was able to quickly and easily add stripes to the vests. I did this for six vests with only one white chalk marker! (good to know they will last for awhile!) Did have to be a little careful not to drag the ruler over fresh lines, but that is to be expected with a chalk marker. I really like the chisel tip as it allows to use for both thin lines and broad lines. Definitely will continue to use this product as they are super easy to use and work well for a number of purposes. Also have to note that the customer service is wonderful. After ordering on Amazon, I received multiple emails asking if I was satisfied with my purchase, information and ideas about how to use the product and more! Great company that obviously cares about how their products work. Very impressed with their mission to please customers!

This is the second set of chalk markers I have bought from crafty croc. I purchased the colored set first, which I loved. But I found I really needed white ones also. They are such a nice quality. They go on nice and thick, it looks just like you are writing with chalk. If you make a mistake, or need to redo your writing, it wipes off so easily with a wet paper towel, yet it doesn't budge once it is dry. (except with a wet paper towel) I was able to buy this set during a promotional period, so i jumped on it. I was already familiar with it after using this brand before. I will buy this brand again when I go through this set. My latest project: I organized my pantry by consolidating my teas ( a lot of teas) and my loose things, like gravy packets, and spice packets. I used all the same size boxes, and use a chalk label on the front. I did one for decaf tea, and one for caffeinated etc.Although the goal was to get organized, which I did, it also looks super cute!!

There are pros and cons to these markers, depending on what you like. PROS: The white is VERY white, nice and opaque. Inflow seems pretty steady with proper treatment (shaking nib-side up with the cap on and priming the tip before each use) CONS (matter of taste): The point is not as fine as something like the RayMay chalk marker (and I prefer a fine point) The density of the ink means extra passes to get it all off when removing with water I haven't experienced any issues with staining and would recommend these, especially if you're after a very opaque white ink and you don't mind a few extra wipes to get it off your surface. I'm using these on a 1960's era chalkboard that was recovered from a school, not on a modern chalkboard-painted surface, so YMMV depending on the porosity of the surface you're using, but the markers are VERY clearly marked with regard to how to use and how to test a surface before going to town. As far as the seller goes, although I rate the product at 4 stars, CraftyCroc is definitely a five-star seller. CraftyCroc is a small, family-run business selling through Amazon. Their customer service is very attentive - they emailed me once to acknowledge they'd received my order through Amazon, again when it shipped (same day), again to check whether the order had been delivered, and a fourth time to check whether I'd received the order (with the gift of an e-book including usage tips, inspirational ideas for use, lots of valuable information on caring for your markers,and some great offers). That fourth email promised a fifth check-in email in about a week to make sure everything is going well and I'm happy with the purchase. Seems like a lot of emails all around one order, but the nice thing is that you can tell there's real people behind the product who want to make sure you're happy with the order.

I've seen the reviews below 5 stars, but really? The instructions plainly state that these markers are strictly to be used on non-porous surfaces. I have tried a slew of liquid chalk markers for my BillyBoard blackboard (which is non-porous), and these are by FAR the best I have checked out. The lines are completely opaque, leaving no shadow, they clean up easily (someone actually took points off here because she had to wipe more than once!), the tips easily swap to super fine from medium, the pens work every time and last a reasonably long time. The first markers I purchased were the ZIG Illumigraph, and were a complete pain, constantly clogging, leaving smudged shadows, all for a much higher price than these CraftyCrocs. Don't listen to the complainers who can't read simple instructions; this is your wet board marker, right here.

Loved these so much. Bought them for my wedding to decorate chalkboard signs. I used them to create my table numbers, label the dessert options, and create a few other misc signs. They were so smooth and easy to use. The liquid chalk flowed to nicely, and if you wiped even the cheapest of chalkboards off while the chalk was still wet, it wiped right off. I did have it stain my cheap chalkboards when I tried to remove it after the wedding, but I expected that and it warns not to use it on painted on chalkboards. Overall, it was great and helped me a lot with my signs.

I have had no problems at all with these markers. I will reorder when these run out.
