QTG Manual Chainsaw Sharpener, 30° Portable Hand Crank Chain Grinder Kit

This is absolute trash and does not work. I bought a $2 file at the HW store that worked great. Don't fall for how cool and EZ it looks. Super difficult and complicated to use. Also doesn't sharpen the blades given they only give you one size of file circumference. That probably doesn't fit your saw.

This item is junk. Good idea but poor workmanship. The tightening screw/device is extremely poorly designed. Don't fall for the clever gimmick...like I did...

There needs to be better instructions on how to set it up. It looks easy but found it not the case. I wasn't even sure it actually sharpened the chain. Then I used it. It was like cutting butter with a hot knife! I could not believe how sharp the chain was. I'm glad I bought it.

Thoroughly impressed! Probably the best chainsaw sharpener I have ever owned. And I’ve owned a lot of them! The only way to be sure that your chains are properly sharpened is to do it yourself. And this little item helps you to do it easily and quickly. I cannot tell you how many hundreds of dollars I’ve wasted on turning in my chainsaws at the hardware store to be sharpened only to find that they’ve given it to Billy Bob with the missing teeth and he has no idea what an angle is or how to grind a chainsaw. I finally consign myself to just buy a new chainsaw whenever my old ones got dull. However, with this little Jim, I have brought my old chainsaws back to life and I am happy!

Hard to set up and is not very efficient. Good idea, poor execution.

Very difficult to use.

Guide bushings are extremely sloppy, only sharpens one side. I got it to work on one side but not the other. The guide bushings aren't spread correctly and they're extremely loose on the burrs. Should've just ponied up for the real one instead of this one
