35L Hiking Backpack, Lightweight Daypack with Rain Cover

Only thing negative is that I wish it was an inch wider. This one fits quite a good amount of stuff in it. A divider in the main compartment would have been nice to have for a laptop pouch or even just an additional separation since when you open the main compartment it opens the bag. Separating it out would allow just for better access I would think. Overall the pockets for it aren't bad. Just different form some bags as you only have one outer pocket and then need to get into the main compartment to access the other small sectioned area. The color came as expected as a nice dark grey. Material feels decent as it should add to the durability of the back pack. The arm straps could have had a slightly stiffer eva foam insert for more comfort including making them half an inch wider to distribute weight more. Overall decent and has been performing well for daily use as an office backpack.

Got this for my son as a gift, he hikes every weekend. He likes all the pockets and storage compartments and the quality is great. He packs extra weight for a better workout and the straps are comfortable on the shoulders even with the added weight.

I got this hoping to use it as a one-bag travel backpack for Europe as well as for hiking, so my review is based on that. I'm 5'11" and a strong 170 lb. This is a fine size for me, but I wouldn't recommend it for most women - it's just a little too long for them to have it properly fitted. It fits a lot more than it seems at first glance; I'm not sure how, but it seems to hold more compression cubes than my 40L carry-on backpack despite looking maybe half the size externally. The top pocket is amazing, but I would be worried about putting something like a passport in it. When the pack is fully packed, some of the little pockets bend from the large pocket's capacity pushing on them, so I'd be worried about damaging the passport. That's unfortunate, because it would be a great place for easy access at the airport. The hip strap places the weight on your hips well when properly adjusted. The chest strap has some give so you can breathe and move, and overall it's pretty comfortable for the load I tried. It feels very attached to your body - moving with it feels more like you're just heavier rather than like a bag is hanging on you - so squatting, climbing stairs, bending over, etc., is easy and you kind of forget you're wearing a pack. The main pocket opens up almost entirely, so it's very easy to shove things in and zip it back up. The bottom pocket is kind of a meme: it's hard to get things in and out of, your whole pack rests on it so you definitely can't put anything fragile in it, and if you put anything weirdly shaped in there the backpack will tend to fall over. I like this backpack for what it is, but I feel it could be a lot more with some small improvements. The waist strap is just a polyester strap with no padding, so it kind of digs into you. I wish it came in better colors - I picked blue but would have preferred black with white or gray straps. I didn't get the cream because it looked like it would get very dirty very quickly. I also really don't like that the company's entire history is sewn into a 5" x 3" patch on the back of the pack - really tacky; it looks like what should have been on a throwaway tag was instead sewn onto the bag. I also wish the main pocket's water-bag compartment fit my laptop (thicc 16-inch boi). It almost does, but it tapers toward the bottom so it doesn't. If you put the laptop in without the bag, an inside zipper rubs against the laptop, which I don't like. The water-bottle holder doesn't fit my 1L steel bottle well; it feels a bit wobbly even when the backpack is stuffed full. Overall, this is a good backpack that will work fine for a day hike or bikepacking, especially at this price point. It has some flaws (no padding on the waist strap, some awkward pockets). I'm not sure I'll be using this for my trip after all - it doesn't seem fit for that purpose, which is disappointing.

Great value. We'll made. Plenty of storage. Rain fly is bonus you typically find in more expensive packs.

The overall finishing and stitching appear strong and well-executed throughout, providing confidence in its durability. However, the one area of concern is the shoulder strap connection at the top, which does not appear to have the reinforcement necessary for heavy loads over time. Fit, Comfort, and Sizing (Mixed) The comfort features are thoughtfully designed but limited by the strap shape: Padding: The straps are wide and well-padded, and the back panel is thick and firm, featuring a wide central air channel for superior breathability and ventilation. Adjustability Range: The straps are commendably versatile, adjusting short enough to fit a 5ft 2in, 100lb woman and extending long enough for a 6ft 2in, 220lb male. Anatomical Fit: This is the primary drawback in fit. The straps are curved, but the wrong way for some women, and for taller users who are more likely to be men, the padded strap part is too short, so the buckles end up uncomfortably high (near the nipples). Organization and Utility This pack excels in organization and utility features: Attachment: There are plenty of external attachment points for securing extra gear, increasing the pack’s versatility. Pockets: Organization is top-notch. The easy-access top pocket includes an internal zippered pouch—perfect for keeping keys and small items from getting lost. Hydration: The side water bottle pockets are generous and easily accommodate a 1L Nalgene bottle, and there's a hidden elastic loop in the right place to provide additional security to your bottle. There is also an internal bladder pocket with corresponding passthrough for the hose, or you can drop a laptop in there. Rain Cover: A brilliant feature is the dedicated small pocket for the included rain cover, allowing you to stash the wet cover separately without dampening the rest of your pack contents. It will work best for an average height, medium build user without large breasts. If a high level of anatomical strap shaping is not your priority, this pack is an excellent choice.
