Sumatra Coffee

First time customer of Koffee Kult and decided to go with their Sumatra blend. Last couple years, after nearly 2 decades of dark roast drinking, I've began to move into medium to medium dark roast. This blend is perfect if you want a darker roast but without the acidity and tongue numbing bitterness. This coffee is smooth, velvety and sits on the palette nicely.. I don't need to go into a whole lot of detail but I will say it's an amazing blend, roasted to perfection, fresh and aromatic. Delicious? Did I say delicious? Right.. Well it's delicious too! Coffee was so fresh that I could smell it a full 5 feet away OUTSIDE with the package laying on my porch. I think I had an orgasm when I unpacked the coffee and opened up the bag to look at the beans. I became flushed, palms got sweaty and I was swept away for a few moments entering a realm of pure absolute coffee bliss. It's probably some of the best smelling coffee I've ever bought period. Only beans that's topped this was when I was buying them freshly roasted locally back in Oregon. Considering I bought this online.. I am incredibly impressed. They have earned my seal of approval as I deem them, their roasting and beans to be apart of my morning coffee ritual from now on. If you want some affordable yet insanely good coffee that is fresh, smells like heaven and taste like nirvana. Look no further! Just to reiterate, this review is for the Sumatra blend. I am now eager to try them all and if you like coffee, you should be too. So buy some beans, make a cup and join me on loving life one cup at a time! Cheers. I just received my first bag of coffee and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Well, I ground up some beans for making espresso and it came out fantastic. The thickness and taste is so good. Coffee Kult Coffee is absolutely the best coffee. I can’t believe the low cost for such excellent coffee too. If you are buying this coffee for the first time like me. Have no doubts. This is worth a try. I’m sure you’ll love it. Update: It's been over a year since I started using Kuffee Kult coffee beans. I'm still using them and I still say this is the best coffee I've ever tasted. I find this to be a favorite of all my friends and family too. I have many of my friends and family switching over to Koffee Kult after trying it here at my house. I say get some of this coffee and enjoy it in a way you should. You won't disagree, no doubt about it.

Good and rich but not as special as expected for the high price.

I have been traveled around the world for two years. Since visited Rome, Italy two years ago, I started to search for the best coffee shops and beans all over the world and learn different techniques to make coffee. I also tried dozens of coffee beans on Amazon. This is so far the best coffee bean I have ever got on Amazon. It is so rich, bold, and flavored. It has very low acidity, bitterness, but strong aroma. I would still keep looking for coffee beans, but I will definitely keep this one in mind and in my cabinet.

Well if you like dark roast rich tasting coffee then you will like this. It’s the only coffee I buy. And has been for a while. I tried some others different brands and other styles from KoffeeKult when they jacked up the price of this but I’m back and I’ll pay the extra just to get this coffee.

I love this coffee. The taste is great. It’s bold yet smooth and the chocolate notes come through. However, I recommend buying from Koffee Kult instead. This seller doesn’t use protected packaging and doesn’t accept returns. I received a bag that had a hole in it. Once opened to the air, coffee beans don’t stay fresh very long.

Koffee Kult's product description is slightly off as it is far better than they describe. Some things are just next to impossible to describe with words for certain. I received my 32oz bag yesterday and prepped for this A.M.s coffee ritual. What a wonderful way to wake up. On my first sip I said to myself "Oh God" then sighed. Then signed on to write this review while I pour and enjoy cup number two. As a home coffee roaster I can state that this medium slightly dark roast is superb. The beans have a lovely sheen on them, oils extruded by the exothermic stage of roasting. (i.e. when the heat energy is being released from the beans after initial endothermic heating.) This imparts a lovely aroma before ( in the jar ) and after brewing in the cup. I appreciate this roast as it is a trick sometimes depending on the type of bean. This is fantastic coffee and I whole hardheartedly recommend it. KUDOS Koffee Kult!

I love dark roasted sumatra. This coffee was nice, fresh and had a wonderfully robust flavor. I think the name is kind of corny but I guess I am part of the Kult.
