iSpring UVB55 55W UV Replacement Lamp UV Bulb for UVF55

The light bulb works as designed. Have not had one burn out prematurely. That said, I’m not a fan of the ispring UV unit. The control unit is dark even though the uv light is still on.

I see a review from Jan 2024. Customer complaint that the 2 prong bulb was sent when the unit required a 4 prong. Nick from ispring said the 4 prong was a newer design. Well I just received the 2 prong. I need a 4 prong. Now it May of 2026. And ispring still doesn’t offer the 4 prong on Amazon .

In April 2018 I bought a Whole House Filter System from Ispring. It was installed in August 2018 and worked perfectly. A year later I changed the filter for the first time and wanted to order a replacement filters. The UV-bulb was out of stock and I could only place my order in early 2020. I live in Panama and so it takes time for the delivery to arrive here. The O-rings for the replacement sleeve were missing in the delivery. I contact support and Nick immediately sent the rings including a cardrige for my spindown filter. When I tried to install everything, I found that the ballast for the uv-filter was damaged. I contacted Nick again, who then immediately promised to sent a replacement. I am now waiting for it to arrive in Panama but would like to thank Nick in advance for the great support.

I received this UV B55 light. Upon preparing for installation I discovered it had 2 pins and I needed 4 pins. I could not find the correct one on Amazon, although they had the right one a year ago. I called the company "ISpring" and talked to Nick. I have never had a better experience. He explained that the one that I received was the old style and is sending me the correct one. I am so thankful for the support and the way they stand behind their products.

Needed help on the installation and sizing. Michele went out of her way to make me happy and keep our system running. Very accessible , personable and hands on customer service. Thank you iSpring staff. I couldn't have done it without you !

Works well, replace every year. Do not touch the bulb with your bare hands wear latex gloves when replacing as this will leave black fingerprints once the UV hits your skin oil and compromises the effectiveness of the sterilization. Also, check your box to make sure you don't receive a cracked bulb, that happened to me once but it was resolved.

I'm returning the 2 bulbs I purchased as they are an older model which do not fit my UVF55FS whole house UV water filter . I don't even see the newer model UVB55FS bulb displayed on Amazon to reorder. I called iSpring customer service and Nick informed me that the four prong bulb is the newer model which I need, and if I send him an email, he will send me a link to the exact replacement bulb that I need. I am in dire straits as I need the UV bulb to kill the ecoli found in my well water, as my family is now at risk. Thank you NICK!

We have the older style bulb. Since they upgraded to a new style, I was worried they weren't going to be carrying them anymore. Glad to see they still stand behind all of their product.
