Works as expected, saves money, Iโm happy
This tool worked and Iโm able to replace watch batteries myself. This thing will last forever and same me money at the jewelry shop having batteries charged. Thank you Amazon and everyone!

Still made a believer out of me.
I have many Invicta dive watches, and many of the "so called" great watch openers for those watches that have slots. I had two Invicta's that my great (and large 3-prong-type with handles) and expensive watch openers could not open. This product shipped quickly and when I tasked it on the first Invicta, with a little pressure, the watch back unscrewed perfectly. Amazing. I continued to open another Invicta's with this inexpensive, yet quite effective product. The one drawback I find is the mechanism is a little loose. The thumbscrew is quick to open and close the two prongs to your desired radius, but not snugly. There is some play, so I needed to just be sure to keep my thumb placed over the thumbscrew as I turned the radius. The product has some weight to it, which I like. and the prongs are well made-they are thinner than I expected, but sturdy when you torque on them. I'd give this a 5 rating if the mechanism was just a bit tighter. But for the price, and the fact that this product performs very well for me, I am surprised, yet pleased to recommend it.

PRODUCT REVIEW
This tool is compact enough and effective for the job. It's easy to use.

It works, just not well.
It works, but not easily. The teeth that go into the notches in the back of the watch are not very stable. The looseness of the teeth makes it difficult to get a secure fit. I am able to get the backs off of watches, but the process can be frustrating. I am looking to replace this one now that I am looking to use it more than once a year.

Very useful if you wear a few watches!
I've been looking at 2 watches sitting dead for a couple years. I finally ordered myself this tool and once I got it, had both batteries replaced in a matter of minutes. Very happy with the price, purpose, and quality of the tool. Would certainly recommend for anyone that has more than one watch! Who doesn't mind changing the battery themselves!

Sad
Did not work, had to pay $18 to a jeweler to get the back off the watch. Tried many watches. Could not get one back off. Sorry!

Worked Perfectly!
The last time my Deep Blue diving watch needed a battery, I took it to a watch store, and they charged me $42 to replace the battery. Maybe they used an old battery, but it lasted 8 months. I put the watch in a drawer because didn't feel like spending another $42 to have the battery replaced, but I really missed wearing the watch. I wondered if there was a tool for the average guy to get the back off my watch and DIY the battery swap. I found this while hunting for such a tool, and figured for $7, it was worth a shot. The tool is made of metal and feels relatively sturdy. The fingers adjust to fit any watch. The back on my watch was on extremely tight (thanks watch store), but this tool successfully removed and reinstalled the back. Between the tool and a new battery, I'm in less than $14, and it took a grand total of 3 minutes to change the battery. This tool pays for itself the first time you use it. Even if only worked once, it still more than paid for itself...but again, it feels sturdy and will likely work several times. I am quite pleased with it.

It is much harder than you might think to hold the watch steady in your hand. Get a watch holding clamp as well.

Worked much better than my previous case back remover, worth buying.

Works perfectly with my watches.

I needed this to remove a particularly troublesome back on a diving watch. The tool feels a little cheap, but did the job ok. It's really easy to damage the watch back by scratching, if you don't use it extremely carefully. However, I am pleased with my purchase.
