Product description Review: Helped my chickens leg heal - I am very pleased with the Verigud 4 Sizes Poultry Leg Splint Set because it offers a practical and useful solution for supporting injured poultry such as chickens, ducks, and geese when they experience leg or foot problems. The inclusion of four different sizes is especially helpful because it allows for a better and more accurate fit across various bird types and ages, which is important for ensuring proper stabilization and comfort during recovery. The splints feel lightweight yet structured enough to provide reliable support without putting unnecessary stress on the bird, which is essential when dealing with fragile or injured animals. I also appreciate that the design focuses on stabilizing the leg while still allowing a limited and controlled range of movement, which helps prevent further injury while supporting a more natural healing process. The materials feel practical for short term use and are easy to position and adjust carefully, making them suitable for both experienced poultry keepers and beginners who may be dealing with an injury situation for the first time. Having multiple splints in one set is also very convenient because it ensures that the right size is available when needed and provides flexibility for different situations. The application process is fairly straightforward with careful handling, and once secured properly the splints help maintain alignment and support during recovery. They are also compact and easy to store, which makes them a useful addition to any farm or emergency animal care kit. Overall this poultry leg splint set is a valuable and practical tool for anyone raising birds, offering an accessible way to support injury care and improve comfort and recovery outcomes when accidents or strain occur. Review: Footless chicken is back to running around - One of my laying hens injured her leg very badly and apparently damaged the blood supply to her foot. The foot shriveled up and fell off with a week. She is otherwise very healthy and lays daily, so I really didn't want to cull her. But she was quite unhappy that I wouldn't let her out with the flock to forage every day. Figured I would give these a try so she could go out and hang with the flock. Average sized hen, used the 2nd size. The 3rd size fits my ducks, so I'm guessing the 4th size would be a turkey. If you can get the chicken to stay still, these are easy to put on. Just put the leg against the back upright and use the vetrap along with a couple of zip ties to to secure it. My flock free ranges on Friday through Monday, so I just fix her up on Thursday night when she's on the roost and the splint stays on until Monday night. I take it off on Monday night so she has a few days to get air to the little stump. It took her a few days to get over the awkwardness, but she is able to keep up with the flock now. Definitely a huge win! I can't get her to stay still long enough to get a picture during the day while she's moving around, but it is a very good fit that mimics the size of her original foot. I'm thinking of putting some sort of sponge or pad at the bottom so her little stump has some cushion. Other than that, this is working like a charm.

Help in time of need
These work okay for injured foot. Our little bit awkward. But they will work.

A must have for emergencies!
This is a very handy thing to have on hand in case of emergencies. This product is well made. It is strong yet lightweight enough to not be a burden on the injured chicken. I will use these for any injured chickens that I foster or rescue from the allbirdrescue.org or for my own chickens if they get injured. This is now in my chicken first aid kit with all my other emergency supplies. The included fasteners should work fine in holding the leg in place to promote fast healing. Having multiple sizes is perfect when you have a variety of breeds and ages to care for. The open front design makes these easy to clean and to keep an eye on the effected limb unlike other splints that I have used in the past using coband that hides all of the leg. Being able to see the limb for circulation issues is very important for proper care and monitoring. As a farm bird foster home and rescuer, I will definitely be recommending this to other friends and bird rescuers I know. If you have chickens, then you should have this for emergencies.

Worked well
These poultry splints worked well to correct or help with foot issues. I was able to use them for both chickens and ducks. I do feel like it’s important to note that you make sure that you use the vet wrap style wrap to cover where you’re going to place the zip ties so that it helps protect the skin on the bird. Also, I would recommend frequent checking to make sure you’re not having any swelling issues. I was able to wash and reuse the splints for more than one bird. I do feel like the price was fairly high, but most medical things for animals are.

Simple and Practical Support Kit
This poultry leg splint kit arrived as described and appears thoughtfully designed. The set includes multiple sizes, which is helpful since chickens, ducks, and other poultry can vary quite a bit in leg size. The splints themselves are lightweight but feel sturdy enough to provide proper support. The material is smooth and doesn’t have rough edges that could irritate the bird. Everything in the kit was packaged neatly and clearly organized. It’s a straightforward product that fills a very specific need for poultry keepers. Overall, it seems like a practical and well-prepared kit to keep on hand when raising birds. While we haven't yet used them, we have had leg injuries in the past and these are good to have on hand for the future.

Helps Stabilize the Foot
There are not a whole lot of options out there when it comes to medical care for chickens, so I really appreciate that these are available. These splints provide good support and help a chicken put some weight back on the foot, which is especially helpful in cases like bumblefoot or other leg issues. The material is lightweight and does not seem to irritate, and having multiple sizes makes it easier to get a decent fit. They are fairly straightforward to use with the included tape and ties, and once in place they stay secure. You will most likely need some assistance from someone else to hold the chicken. One thing to keep in mind is that these are not meant for free ranging. They work best if you have the bird in a kennel or controlled area while healing. My final thoughts are that this is a very useful product for anyone who keeps poultry. It helps fill a gap where there are not many good options and can make a real difference during recovery.

CYA
Picked these up after having some issues with our ducks, unfortunately we didn't find them till the issues were all healed up but want to get them as a CYA, kinda like buying a snow blower and it doesn't snow at all that year. Look to be easy to use and will be functional for the ducks and chickens, hope I'm right.
