Purpose and comfort
I'm a truck driver and I can't function without having my pouch holding my stuff that I use as I drive. It keeps my eyes on the road and it's comfortable and it hides my dirty shirts lol

Amazing buy for price!
I bought a size large for a slightly bigger fit. If I wanted it totally oversized I would have gotten an XL. Looks exactly like the photo and it's packable which is great. You flip the middle pocket inside out, shove the jacket in, then you can zipper it up. Convenience when it comes to camping and storing. Good material, waterproof with wind protection. It's good for 45-75 degree weather, I didn't have to layer at 58 degrees but I did wear a fleece short sleeve shirt under to walk the dog and I came in a little warm. It's great for layering as long as you go a size up. I'm usually a small or medium in tops. Amazon did recommend a size medium, which is why I sized up for a slightly larger fit for layering. If I ordered a medium it would have been fitted and too tight for layering for camping. For reference I am a dress size 6. Pant size 8/10. Top size is also a 6 but I lean more towards a medium if the material doesn't stretch, my bust is larger and I have more of an Athletic/curvy build (hourglass) Hope this helps!
