Great looking Merrell hiking shoes.
Very nice looking pair of Merrell hiking shoes, good quality as expected from Merrell, I got a half size bigger as my other Merrell Moab Ventilator were a bit tight also I’d read a lot of reviews about the sizing and while they are a little larger they fit ok and will be snugger with thicker walking socks, and yes as in other reviews the in-step does feel a little high but I’m sure my feet will get used to that, it actually feels like I’m getting more support which is good. As for the in-sole movement (again from other reviews) thus far I’ve had no issues with that. Overall very pleased with purchase and look forward to many hours walking/hiking in them.

I love Merrell walking shoes
I love Merrell walking shoes. I use them for everyday walking, of which I do quite a lot as a result of working locally. I find they are incredibly comfortable and hard wearing. In my experience they last twice as long (at least) as cheaper alternatives and keep their inner comfort for longer, too. As others have said, it is worth sizing up slightly. I usually take a 9 but went for 9.5 and they feel great. I also know what some folk mean about feeling like the in-step is raised a little. I wondered if that would be a problem and would rub, but actually after a day or two it felt really comfortable and now feels like it supports my feet really well and like it is how my foot should be supported. No rub at all. The air in-sole is incredibly cushioned and feels great, the only issue being that it is not glued in so moves back each time that I take the shoe off and I have to readjust next time I wear them. Apparently, they make them that way so you can replace them when you need to. It is only a small inconvenience for a great shoe. I really like this one as it works brilliantly as an everyday show and looks really great too. Another winner. Well done, Merrell.

Comfy, waterproof, quality walking shoes at a great price
I bought these a full size too big after reading the other reviews on Amazon. They sure would've been too tight if I'd bought the correct size, but I think half a size bigger than normal might've been enough. But I'm still OK with it, I don't mind my shoes slightly loose. They are extremely comfy. As all my other Merrell's, the build quality is excellent. Don't be put off by the photos and think that these are marginally bigger than trainers - they are actually quite big, too big to wear with jeans, the same profile as a low-cut walking boot I would say. Just got back from walking the dog in the rain, and they didn't let a drop in, despite being soaked. For long-termer waterproof walking shoes, you couldn't really ask for more.

3rd pair so far!
So these are my 3rd pair of these shoes. Comfortable, supportive insole, waterproof and look decent; a generally good all rounder shoe. Like most waterproof/goretex items they don't breath as well so you get hot feet in the summer but that's to be expected. Third pair because wearing them virtually everyday with my gait wears out the back in approx 13-15 months.

Nice shoe but the insole keeps moving about leaving a gap at the end
Nice comfortable shoe but disappointed with the insole as it keeps moving back and leaving a gap near the toes. Maybe its too large but never had this problem before with Merrells

Good shoes.
Well, the topic may be as subjective as it gets but I like them :) Solid shoes, well built and comfortable. Seem to be hard wearing too [so far]. They fit as well as expected. I now have one pair on my feet and further 2 in the wardrobe to replace them when they expire.

An otherwise excellent shoe marred by bizarre arch support.
I wear merrell shoes a lot. I have in current use about three pairs. These looked excellent on paper and this was borne out on receiving delivery. Nice colour. Good styling. High quality. Everything I have come to rely on in merrell. However... The arches. Oh the arches. It's as though you are standing on a tennis ball. Amazingly uncomfortable. Also slightly narrower than normal merrells. Maybe they'll fit you but not me. Also the normal 'go one size up' rule still applies, as with all merrells, should you want to risk it. Amazon excellent returns policy helped though.

Comfy and robust.
The shoes are very comfortable. Merrell footwear always seems to fit me perfectly so, unlike some others, I have no issues with sizing. Whilst these are described as hiking shoes and the Vibram sole is robust and grippy, the intended use that the shoes will be put to merits careful consideration as the leather can easily get soaked in wet grass and will no doubt go out of shape over time if used routinely in wet ground.. Mine will probably be used for casual use and walking on footpaths rather than anything approaching cross-country hiking.

Love these shoes and Merrell in general. Comfy all day and good looks.

Scarpa comoda (pianta larga) Materiale resistente. Per ora utilizzata per escursioni cittadine (pave - buche - radici).

Shoes seem good but the right shoe foot bed moves and bunched up toward the heel of the shoe.
