Have big strong dogs, 110 pounds these last longer on their nails that’s what I use some for dog girl

It doesn’t really do the job for me personally my dogs hate it a lot even with using it 3-4 times a week

I only get a small window of time to work on my Hogie's nails. I have to hang him in a harness to even be able to work on them and after 15-20 minutes he is done and won't hold still. I got these for my Dremel and they do file down quicker and he doesn't seem to be bothered by the feeling of the file on his nails.

My veterinary staff is used to these burs. They work fine.... a couple of years. Upon ordering, we found the round cylindrical size to be easier to handle. Curetuers may be better for a grooming parlor biweekly trims.

Easy way to file dog nails; Suggestion for use (read).___Dog nails are tough, and with 4 paws there are a lot of them. If you keep them relatively short, filing is a reasonable solution. I would not file nails that extend way beyond the nail quick--that's where the nail is alive (e.g. has nerve endings and can bleed)--it just takes to long for both you and your dog. I would trim first to get close to the quick, then use the file to smooth afterward. That's when this tool is helpful.___The tools them selves are all metal, light weight and fit the tool I have.___The surface is rough enough to smooth a dog nail, though too rough for human nails, naturally.___It fits a Dremmel like tool. The noise of the tool may take some getting used to. I suggest you have your dog/dogs close by and simply run the tool to accustom them to the noise without actually approaching them. The vibration is a also a funny feeling to them, so be gentle. Also, and most importantly, hold the Dremmel like tool so the file rotates either side to side or downwards to the end of their claw, not upwards.___There are 2 identical grinding tools in this package, but no instructions, so I hoped this helped you.
