I was always skeptical but got it because I needed help. And it worked at showing me exactly what I have been doing wrong. Great too for putting and the accessories are great tools as well.

My husband thinks this works well for its purpose. It is basically a mirror with bumpers and allows you to see your path as you put. It includes gates that serve as targets to work on your accuracy. It’s simplistic but seems you be of decent quality.

This is a training tool and you kind of need to know how to use it. Do you need it, no. Can it help, probably. It doesn’t come with instructions but it’s pretty simple. You’ll lay it down on the green or wherever you’re practicing from. You’ll get into a putting posture and you will want to look over the mirror and essentially align your eyes centered on it. At the same time, the lines on your putter (assuming you have them) should align with the red line on the mirror. Think of it as staring down the scope of a rifle. To shoot a rifle, you’ll want to ensure your eye is in the right spot to properly use the sights and the same applies to your putter. If you are centered and your putter is lined up, you are actually aligned to the line on the mirror. This teaches you to get your eyes in the right spot mostly. I’d suggest adding this in with a putting string so that you can combine those together, again ensuring you are directly over the string. Then add in a marked ball and you learn to replace the string with the lines on your ball. This has the added benefit of the magnetic guide rails, similar to what Tiger does when he preps before hand with his putter, ensuring you control the putter and use it with a controlled stroke. Those are handy too and easy to use with this. The added gates to put thru are cool too, but not something I’ll use much myself. Overall, it’s a good training tool that could be helpful if applied properly but it doesn’t come with instructions. I have largely laid out the general application above, but you can look it up on YouTube if you’d like to get a better idea. I don’t think you need it, but I do think it might help.
