Blue bayou
This was an awesome choice! I only needed a little of this midnight blue by Clairol and it adheres great to my short hair. Now I’m hoping I won’t need to refresh the color until maybe August, the mask that comes with it is meant to maintain the color each time you wash. I love it !

Did not work for rensage toning my blonde hair
I bought this midnight blue hair color to do rinsage toner on my hair. This color did not work at all because it's way too light and not pigmented. Rinsage instructions: -Use blue or preferably blue black permanent box hair color. This will combat yellow brassiness in your blonde hair. -Add a tsp of hair color, a tsp of developer, and 1/4 cup cheap shampoo to a small empty bottle. Do not use joico or Paul Mitchell etc shampoos because you need the sulfates or something that's in the cheap VO5 shampoo or it will not work. -Shake very well, wait 5 minutes for the mixture to get dark. -smooth it through your dry hair. Just make sure it's saturated. -immediately (after no longer than 1 min), rinse out the mixture and condition. I usually just get in the shower right after I put this on my hair.

Wanted to find a good color product that would show on my locs and cover up lint. I wanted a brand new fresh look. My locs were brown due to sun exposure and I hated how they were starting to look. This brand is AMAZING. When I tell you super easy process, and omg the smell of these dyes and the mask phenomenal. You can smell the oils in the dye day 2 and my hair still smells amazing. I honestly never want this smell to go away it just smells so good. I used 2 natural black dyes and 1 blue midnight. The moisturizing mask made my hair feel so soft and healthy. My tub and sink didn’t stain too bad after wiping it up it came off right away. I will always use this brand and always recommend 100/10
