Basalt Chopped Fibers for Concrete, GFRC Chopped Strands 1 LB. Concrete Fibers 24 mm (.94") Length

I got this as an additive for making non-ferrous ferrocement. I am still just experimenting at this point, but this does seem to help reduce cracking. It is very challenging to keep thin applications of mortar moist while it cures, especially when it is in direct sun in the summer, so in theory the added fiber should help keep it from shrinking quite so much.

This stuff works. It makes a messy slab when wet, but a clean solid one once dry!

Used to glass, this works out better than I expected

i enjoy using this fiber .it deffently can be a pain to mix tho
