Just what I neede for my sewing machine.

I have no idea how one finds out that sewing aid like this even exists?! If it didn't show up for me in vine items que, I would not know it exists or even get idea to look for something like this. I have to let my sewing friends know about it. I've been using the gliding mats with rulers, and/or putting masking tape for quarter inch seams, and had no clue that a neat little sewing lamp can take care of the alignment so easily. I love it, it is a great aid, and can be easily bent and positioned to make any seam width, or aid in alignment of anything that need to be perpendicular. There aren't any instructions on the box, and there isn't a manual, but it is so simple to install, there's nothing to it. If your sewing machine has magnetic metal surface, like mine does, just stick the base there and adjust the angle to your needs. Otherwise, there are two metal magnetic disks with adhesive on one side, so just stick the disk where you want the lamp to attach and voila! The arm of the lamp feels very sturdy and once adjusted will stay in place, and can be also easily readjusted. It's also good value because usually anything with a laser isn't cheap, and this sewing lamp is a useful tool that can aid in sewing for years to come.
