I was pleasantly surprised when I received the product. The craftsmanship is truly exquisite. It delivers powerful performance with excellent power consumption control. Its compact size saves space. The display is clean and clear, with fonts of just the right size for comfortable reading. The overall experience is outstanding—a thoroughly satisfying purchase.

This was purchased as a replacement for some of my Heltec V3 homebrew nodes which suffer from the short battery life. ThinkNode M5 is a great improvement with e-ink screen and GPS received that can be turned off when not needed. One thing I wish is that the main knob was a rotary encoder for the UI instead of the backlight brightness adjustment.

It works fantastic, there is great battery life, and its been dropped a few times and survived well. My only complaint is screen will dim and the only way to adjust it would be to turn off the device and turn it back on. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone playing in the meshtastic realm. Even though I have that tiny issue, the screen is still super readable with the E-ink in the sun. Its my favorite premade meshtastic rig.

This is a fully built Meshtastic node that works through a Bluetooth connection to an app on your smartphone. No need to build anything else, but it has the ability to add a bigger antenna. The range tested at 2 miles. The quality is good. Compared to having to build your own, I find that this is well worth the money for someone using mesh networks.

The casing has a premium feel with solid build quality and stable signal transmission. The actual product is more compact and refined than expected, with a satisfying heft in the hand. For this price point, getting such a feature-rich device is a real bargain—highly recommended.

It looks nice but performs terribly. I have 3 other meshtastic devices. This one receives and sends messages the worst. The price is not worth it. I will try to upgrade the antenna and see if that helps

Absolutely awesome Meshtastic node. I've only had it for 30 minutes and getting over 10 Miles of range! The knob on the top turns it on and adjusts the eInk backlight display brightness. The buttons on the side turn the backlight on and off, and navigate the menus. There's also a physical switch on the side to enable and disable the GPS. I kind of already prefer this portable unit over the T-Deck (which has more confusing controls, and an ackward reset button on the side) The eInk screen is clear, and useful in direct sunlight. It has a standard USB C port on the bottom for charging. The antenna even has some nice gaskets to keep water and debris out.

Keep getting the same error trying to update the firmware. Not sure what's going on but it's annoying when something fails directly out of the box.

I had a fee teething problems but after updating software everything working as it should happy with purchase
