Junk item
If you want to waste your money buying some chinese junk this is the perfect item.. Keeps showing 14C temperature inside the home when all the other thermostat in the home are reading 75F. Hmm..if it can't read the temperature correctly do I trust anything else? The HCHO and TVCO numbers just keep going up to 1000.. then flashes red.. then keeps going down and turn green.. Save your sell some money and buy a unit that doesn't look like this.. Its the same crap being sold under 10 different sellers.

Useless as a Particulate Matter Monitor
This unit is going back. I have no idea how accurate the TOVC monitoring is but the PM2.5 readings are completely inaccurate. They are much higher than the nearby purpleair sensor or the airnow.gov sensor readings. Also, if I turn off the backlight on the display, the readings drop by at least 20 points. This makes no sense. I asked the seller about this and they said that the light needs to be on for the laser to reflect off of the particles. This makes no sense. The laser has nothing to do with the backlight. If it does, the design is flawed. Also, the PM2.5 value has never dropped lower than around 47. It does not matter if I bring the unit into a bathroom which should have the lowest particulate matter in the house. The humidity and temperature readings seem to be accurate. The temperature, humidity and TOVC/HCHO readings do not change if the backlight is off or on. Again, I have no idea how accurate the TOVC/HCHO readings are.
