Super cute, effective, and well worth the price.
I love this fan - it works super well, and looks great! Some specific details: Appearance: 5/5 - This fan is super cute. It's perfect for a kid's bedroom. There's not much more to say on this, except that if you like how it looks on the product images, you'll like how it looks in your house - it definitely met expectations on this front. Functionality: 5/5 - It has helped to keep out AC costs down in the summer, because it does a great job cooling down our kid's room. Our kid's room can get super hot, even if the rest of the rooms are a comfortable temperature, so we were getting desperate for a solution, and this fan was the perfect fit. I haven't tested the reverse functionality yet, because we haven't needed to, but I appreciate that that's an option as well. The light is nice and bright, and I love that you can dim it. The lighting tempurature options are also great. It provides multiple fan speeds, so we can adjust depending on how hot it is, and I love that it's all controllable from a remote (no need to reach up and pull a chain or anything). All in all, super functional and effective for a small bedroom - exactly what it promised. Installation: 3/5 - Overall, the installation was pretty easy. It took me probably about four hours, but I also started with no pre-existing knowledge so I double- and triple-checked every step to make sure I didn't make any mistakes. The reason it's 3/5 is that I did have to do a bit of digging and watch several separate installation videos, since the company-provided videos left some steps out. However, once I had the correct information, the fan itself was easy to install. I'd imagine if you come into this having previously installed a fan, the installation will be much easier for you than it was for me. App functionality: N/A - We don't use the app, so I can't speak to it's functionality. However, the good news is that if you don't want to use the app, you don't have to - the fan is perfectly functional without it. Noise: 5/5 - There's a bit of noise, but it's all ambient/airflow, so it's not at all an issue for us, because it just means the fan's working. No motor noise or anything. There's a slight clicking sound when you first turn the fan on (see video), but nothing constant. Price: 5/5 - This fan is well worth the price - a great value for money. Plus, prior to purchasing the fan, we had to turn the AC way down to get our kid's room to be a comfortable tempurature for her, so we're saving money on AC as well. (I've attached a video in which I switch between the different light tempuratures, dim and brighten the light again, and turn the fan on. Keep in mind that the differences are much more apparent in-person than on the video, since my phone tried to automatically adjust the lighting, but it should give you a general sense of the functionality and noise level.) All in all, a great buy. We've been using this fan for about six months, and have absolutely no regrets. 5/5, would definitely recommend.

Nice fan with some minor drawbacks
I replaced an old 30in fan with this one. Cons (all minor for me) - The manual is not great and kind of confusing. (The install is easy enough so this was not much of a problem.) - The built-in connection in the base for the wires is a nice idea, but you need a really tiny screwdriver. (I ended up used wire nuts instead.) - Control really is ONLY from a remote or phone app. Your wall switch wonโt turn it on. Pros - This definitely moves a lot more air than the old one did. - I saw comments about it being cheap looking, but to us it looks as nice as other fans Iโve had โ some costing 4x as much. (Iโve had it less than a day, but it seems solid.) - It was very easy to install. We spent more time playing around with the light settings than I did installing it.

Good product
Compact ceiling fan, easy to install with strong air movement. Great for an office or bedroom. Several lighting and fan speed settings with the remote permit you to change or shut off easily. Parts are well made and the finish is as advertised.

Terrible RBG, regular lamp nightlight is too bright. Just poor overall
Nope, not keeping this thing. Terrible software logic. I bought this thing specifically for the ability to dim the light down very low. There's even a night-light button on the remote. But the lowest brightness is like a 30-40 watt bulb, not at all "nighlight". The lowest setting on the light is probably the brightest I'd ever want it. Also, the RGB feature is a joke. You have to turn it on, then it off, then turn it on again, and it changes pattern or color, through a preset cycle. On, off, on (new pattern), don't like it?, off, on again, still don't like it?, off, on, etc... etc... waste of time. No way to dim the RGB ring, no way to specify a color or pattern. Th app is a joke, no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth only. The app choices barely fits the screen of a pixel 9 pro screen, bottom toggles for light and fan on /off are hard to get at. The fan doesn't remember all the settings of you switch it off at a the wall (which they note in the manual you're not supposed to do!) they don't say that here in the listing! So many problems and stupid design flaws. Just seems all of these made in China fans have HORRIBLE programming and remote or app layout. As far as the fan, yes the motor is heavy, but the blades are cheap plastic and they wobble. Not impressed in the least. Delivered today, installed today, sending it back to Amazon tomorrow!!!!!

This is by far the easiest to install
MAN, after having to install 20+ fans in the past 3 months alone, in my own house. YOU GET REALLY TIRED, and good at installing them, but this by far takes the cake for the easiest install. Only thing I changed with it, is I removed their wire connector kit that connects house wire to the remote control box. 1) I'd have to whip out my gadget screw set to unscrew the tiny screws, 2) their position kind of forces you to unscrew it out of its location, unscrew the six screws for the wires, since it's near impossible to wrangle them in the position they're at. 3) then you finally have to screw down the six screws, use a new bit, and then screw the kit back to its home on the plate. So instead, I opted for my old friend the 3 wires leaver kit. They're super cheap, I have yet to run into issues with them, knock on wood, and a little VHB tape allows you to mount them wherever you like. As for mounting, it's a little overkill. They give you four screw points. NICELY gasket (for vibration dampening) and slotted. You could use four, or just line up two, since this thing weighs nothing, not nothing, but most ceiling mounts shouldn't have issues with this, you're not going to need to whip out molly bolts or toggle bolts. As for operation, this will do a 10x10 room no problem, but not much bigger. I personally bought this to supplement my living room fan since that back door is still DRAFTY as if I left it open; even though I gasket and sealed it to heck. This will hopefully force the air out of that 10x4ft hallway into the living room which should then push it into the kitchen, then to the second kitchen fan installed, and away from the main area of this long tubular house that I live in. Currently have 11 fans that are supposedly moving something like 24,000 cubic feet per minute, which is about the total CUBIC FOOTAGE of my house, per minute, though I think my issue is it's just stirring it and I need to figure out an escape route for it. HMM... I have 4 AC UNITS, in this house, 2 are crippled and SORT OF WORK with a lot of struggle. One has a coolant leak, and the upstairs one won't turn on, even though all the breakers are flipped to on. NO CLUE what that's about. Have spent 15K on repairs, no one will replace them for me, since it would be too much work for them and that's kind of the problem with GULF COAST MS, no contractor wants to do the work. HENCE THE NEED TO INSTALL 20 fans (some I've had to re-install multiple times, since some of the amazon ordered fans didn't work). The major complaint and this is with all that include "LIGHT KITS", is they're NEVER BRIGHT ENOUGH. This is why I don't like "LIGHT KITS", give me a good old fashioned Edison Socket. So if you were using this in your bedroom, or kid's/spare bedroom; better have some bed-side lamps. It's more than fine for the hallway it's going to, since I keep this house lit like the Griswalds' house in Christmas Vacation. NOT even that much of an exaggeration. LOL... My neighbors haven't complained, but the point is, that hallway light being anemic isn't too bothersome, but for like a bedroom/office/small room, it's not going to be enough. The last complaint I have with this and is for ALL CHINESE FAN KITS on AMAZON, which I now have 4, NO PULL CORDS for the fan or light. I'm thinking about retro-fitting one for the bathroom one, shouldn't be too hard. BUT still wished this wasn't a trend. I get it, "CLEAN LOOK", sure fine, whatever, but then that makes you a slave to the remote. I mean yes, this has an "APP" you can use, BUT MAN... NO OFFENSE TO THIS COMPANY, but I just don't trust your app, and is why I stay away from "SMART" gadgets. I'm not technophobic, currently surrounded by 5-6 full fledged PCs in my living room as we speak. There's 6 android devices including my phone, and 2 apple tablets. It's just I don't need my home appliances to be smart. Other than that, at this price, you'll be hard pressed to find a fan this size. Since even at Lowe's, I think the least expensive 42in (since I couldn't find one smaller in-store) was like $75. They do sell their cheap-o "architecture" line for $60 that's pretty good and I use in the spare bedrooms in my house, of which are 4, and two in my personal bedroom since they move a lot of air and have ONE edison light socket. So, if you are like me, and need a specialty sized fan, this will work great. Also, unlike the last small fan I bought, these blades are swooped logically. The last one I bought had PROPELLER style blades, and that just created a tight cone. This has a decent spread horizontally and vertically. Also I love how thick plastic these are. Good print job on the blades. When mounted you won't be able to easily tell they're plastic, since the print is good, but up close you can, and that's fine. I'm okay with plastic, especially since my hallway was only 42in wide (rounded it up to 4ft earlier on). So, Yeah, RECOMMEND.

Nice fan, good price
The fan arrived in a nicely packaged box. Instructions 1 through 4 are unnecessary because the lampshade, LED light plate, etc. do not come assembled. In step 5, you will need to remove the screws for the fan blade before attaching the blades using the same screws. The instruction does not say which way the blades should be installed and if one is not careful, it is possible to install some or all of them backwards. The correct orientation is for the concave side of the blades to face the floor and the convex side face the ceiling. Instruction 7 only tells you how to connect the terminal of the LED light plate. Strong magnets are used to secure it in place. Be sure it is centered. If not, use a tool to move it. The integrated safety rope and built-in hook are nice features that make it easy during wiring. You can use the terminal block that comes with the unit or just use wire nuts. The connecters are intuitive (follow the colors) and male-female connectors can only go one way. The installation took me a lot longer than anticipated. Thatโs because after I removed the existing light fixture and plastic junction box, realized there was no wood structure. The hole spacing on the base plate is about 3 ยฝ โwhich is smaller than the 4โ hole in the ceiling. I took a 1โ x 2โ piece of wood, cut it to about 9โ long and pushed it through the hole and made it centered. I then secured it with two screws through the sheetrock. I over torqued the screws so that the screw heads were below flush. I then used potty and afterwards, sanded it down and painted. When the paint was dry, I hung the fan. While the fan is small, it does a good job for the room that is 16 feet by 18 feet. The fan has 6 speeds and a Wind Turbine feature. The LED light can be changed from cool to warm and from bright to dim. The remote controller is easy to learn but the button that says Set Up and has a Wi-Fi symbol on it, is not useful /could not be paired anything. The batteries ARE included with the fan. Update: Since I wrote this review, I have purchased and installed two more of these fans. Iโve had zero issues with any of the three fans in more than a year. I am therefore changing my rating from four to five stars.

Defectuoso
Instalaciรณn fรกcil. A los tres dรญas de instalaciรณn, el ventilador empezรณ hacer mucho ruido. Como si algo estuviese rozando contra el motor. Por favor, solicito un reemplazo por uno nuevo.

Lower sealings
Install in a 12 ft garage sealing and it doesn't feel the air moving. Put other on my room regular 8 foot sealing, is perfect, right over my bed, you feel the air moving around you.

Stylish Fan, but App Control Doesn't Work
The Kviflon Ceiling Fan with Lights looks great and is perfect for smaller spaces with its sleek 38-inch design. The remote control is convenient, and the fan operates quietly. However, the app control feature doesn't seem to work with my phone, which is disappointing. Despite that, it still works well with the remote, and the fan's lighting options are a nice bonus. Overall, a good fan, but the app functionality needs improvement.
