I had a very gross tank. So it has taken awhile for me to review the device. We ended up having to start fresh and move our fish out of their enclosure and refill the tank but after we did that the filter keeps up and does fantastic. The noise is quiet and it cost a fair amount for filtering the fish tank. Super easy to use.

Why would you make your suction cups come separate and then make the casing for the cups too small for the peg to fit through, bad design.

portable filter power with air

I was able to close my 60 gallons aquarium lid fully with this filter. The design allow it to install fully into the aquarium water with just the power wire and air line hanging out, this is a big plus for me, making my aquarium looks nicer. I think it will last since it's simple design to filter water with bio balls and sponges. With the added air line pumping air mix into the water creates a lot oxygen. Installation is obviously easy because just attach it to the aquarium glass wall with the suction cup, strong enough to hold. Good value for the money since it not occupied my aquarium space and looks nice. The air pump is not included if you want to use the air line.
