Saved a lot of dough.
Our key was falling apart. We could have paid $400-$600 for a new one, but just transferred the guts into this shell and we were good to go.

Worse than junk - caution
These are not suitable to replace the factory key shell - they‘ll wreck the PCB electronics.

Not Compatible with 2007 C230
The general shape is correct. But the internal design is very different from the factory key. The small circuit board with the chips does not fit. And the battery orientation is very different.

Cheap. Solid, no difference to the iem Mercedes key itself. Mine was starting to fail, worn out and tired looking. Timpsons quoted £60 knowing it was just the shell. Easy to dismantle the old key and assembly is just as simple. Now the key works 100%. Solved the ignition delay too, something to consider. Can’t believe it even has the three-star badge!
