Does what a fortified probiotic is supposed to do. Pet has not had any g.i. problems since using it

I have a dog with allergies to so many things! Whether it's nutritional, environmental, vitamins, minerals, plants etc. He was losing weight, hair and weepy eyes. Gut health is key in helping with some of these things. This has greatly helped with stools (firming), hair growth and quality, calming stomach, and since he's feeling better-his attitude. So many things have yeast, sweet potatoes etc for allergies. He's reactive to all of that & more. This has really been a game changer for him. (Kelp formula).

Very glad I found this product. I had been using the Purina Pro version of powdered probiotic With this being kelp based, it smells a bit fishy and my dog is not crazy about that, so have to mix it into os food. It seems to be working to help settle his stomach and digestive function I believe this product is actually better and it also costs less than Purina Will definitely be ordering again

I think this is healthy, but the dogs don’t like the taste too much.

This company is trustworthy. I had concerns about the expiration of the product and they responded to me immediately. My dog seems to like the taste. It has a scent of real ocean seaweed plant. Others I’ve talked to about the health benefits of probiotics for my dog have mentioned this company by name and use their products themselves.

We moved to a new area and our dog kept getting an irritated stomach from drinking the water in the streams and exploring new place. We noticed she seemed uncomfortable and wanted to do something to help improve her gut health, so we thought we would try this. Improving her gut health was just one of the benefits, her coat became softer, and she is so shiny. Her general hardiness and energy levels have seemed to improve as well. We are regular buyers of this product now !

This is a co great product for new moms. Next time I will start a month before gestation. She really perked up.

Before I review this item I need to clarify something first. My dog has a very delicate constitution. She has a tendency towards loose bowels which is the reason I was looking for a probiotic in the first place. That being said, this product was a huge failure. She had diarrhea the next day and for 3 days. I started her on the product on a way lighter beginning dose than the directions said. I know my dog. But never did I even think of what would happen! It just did NOT agree with her. I waited for 2 weeks and tried again, just to give the product the benefit of the doubt, I mean kelp is wonderful you know. Same result. It's got to be a thumbs down for me. And I am sure that I will stay forever on the probiotic she has been on with mostly good results, because I don't want to have to go back on Prozac again.

You probably have to use this for a long time to notice benefits but short-term, this seems to be a very good product. My dog doesn't mind eating it and has suffered no digestive issues. The ingredients are clean and I like to think this supplement will help him transition into his older years well. He's seven at the moment. He's in good health and I want him to stay that way.

We add it to their normal dry kibble and add some warm water (most of the time). They devour the supplement and food in double quick time. We have even just added it dry on a couple of occasions and it hasn't made any difference. Woosh! and it's gone. Even our wee black x-breed - the timid one - digs in. Our c.13 year old Jack-Russell Cross has a couple of wee accidents (poos) a couple of days after starting, so we cut it down a bit, and we haven't looked back. To be honest we're not sure it was the supplement, but it happened just after we introduced it. So you may want to be careful if your dog is allergic to some things or has a timid tum. We use 1/2 a teaspoon, twice a day. Otherwise, I would heartily recommend it - and so would our dogs(!)

I got this for my daughters dog, as she's just had surgery. It was really intended as a bit of a boost, just to help her get back on her paws. She loves it, it's easy to add to food, and I think it is doing her good. Much better than pills too. It's good quality, smells okay, and goes down a treat. Her coat is lovely too. She is definitely worth it! I'd get this again!

I don't use this product every day just a couple of times a week, it does what is says it does. Don't know if I will buy it again as its expensive as I have two big dogs

It’s very hard to measure something like this as you rarely see anything immediate. Currently both my cocker spaniels get their normal food and a scoop of Joint Aid (one of the few thing I know for CERTAIN works well) and that’s their ritual. I’ve added this to their diet and so far there have been no ADVERSE effects like diorreah or turning their noses up at it. So the fact it’s not upsetting stomachs and doing no hard I’m going to assumes working fine. If they do start having an adverse effect then I will come back and update this. To my mind this is like taking Yakult. Not sure it it’s working but you hope it is.
