Good quality paper. Translucent enough to trace accurately, but not so flimsy that it tears easily. I use it to trace sewing patterns, but it would certainly be fine for any other tracing tasks.

My local art center turned me onto this paper. It's perfect for sewing pattern tracing. It's sheer enough to easily see all the pattern lines, but it's not tissue paper thin, so it doesn't tear easily. It takes both pencil and pen well, and pencil can be erased without damaging the paper. The 36" width makes it easier, particularly with larger pattern pieces, to be more efficient and waste less paper.

Great teaching paper. That's my second order. I'm making my own sewing patterns and 36" - is perfect size for this purpose!

I used this paper for drawing sewing pattern blueprints. The paper is lightweight. I was able to make a shorts pattern and draw pant front and back on a 36 inch wide per 29 inch length using a master pattern.

I use this Bienfang tracing paper roll for pattern drafting, and it works great. It’s lightweight, easy to fold, and simple to cut to whatever size I need. I can clearly see my lines when tracing, and it’s strong enough for regular sewing use without tearing too easily. I also like how versatile it is. I can roll it right out across my sewing table and work on larger pattern pieces without fighting with small sheets. When I’m done, it rolls back up neatly. My only wish is that it came in a soft yellow color instead of white, which would be easier on the eyes. Still, it’s a dependable choice for drafting and tracing.

Big enough and it's perfect to trace with!

This paper is perfect for making sewing patterns, which is what I'm using it for. It's very good quality; I would say it's just a little bit thicker than the usual sewing pattern paper. It lies flat when unrolled. It is transparent, making it good for tracing most things (such as patterns or for drafting), but the paper doesn't have a completely smooth appearance (the surface is smooth, but you can see the inconsistencies in the fibers of the paper), which gives it a slightly marbled look. Because of that, I would say it's probably not the best for tracing drawings or other things with lots of very fine detail.

I was impressed how easy it was to trace sewing patterns through the paper. It is more durable than regular pattern tissue paper and has held up well through multiple pinnings and cuttings of fabric pieces. Very happy with my purchase.
