Winco BAM-3.5 Bain Maries, 3.5-Quart, Medium, Stainless Steel

It is larger than I thought, but it works very well with the Chinois to strain sauces. The height is necessary to get the whole Chinois down into it. Is well made and a quality thickness on the steel.

I use it as a scrap clay bucket while making pottery. Works well.

Winco 1.25 qt lid cover on small pots fits well. Very solid quality & in fridge the pot firs on each other with this cover. The way they make it very convenient. Affordable price and it has weight too.

Size and light weight perfect for what I’m using it for. Attractive, shiny stainless steel.

Ultimately they are nice pots. They seem like good quality stainless and I have not noticed any rusting. My only complaint is that 1 of the 2 pots in the pack came with some thick corrosion looking stuff on the rim, not in the pot! It is only on the rolled rim. See video to understand what I mean.

FORTUNATE TO FIND THIS AS CANS TODAY ARE SMALL NOT THE LARGER ONES USED TO MAKE THE STOVE TOP STEAMED BROWN BREAD. HOWEVER THIS IS MUCH MORE FUNCTIONAL FOR MAKING RICE PUDDINGS SMALL CAKES . THE SMALL CIRCULAR DESIGN LEADS TO A NON CONVENTIONAL JELLY ROLL. AS THE ROUND CAKE CAN BE SLICED AND FILLING OF CHOICE CAN BE SPREAD. CAKE WILL STAND IF TOP SLICE IS REMOVED ALLOWING THE JELLY ROLL TO STAND WHEN TURNED OVEER AS BASE. BATTER BREADS CAN BE ADAPTED. REMEMBER LESS LIQUIDS GO INTO STEAM COOK. STUDY BROWN BREAD RECIPES.

I actually use this as a planter for some indoor plant. I have a few plastic pots that fit perfectly. It looks sleek, waterproof and durable. It can also be used as a small garbage can.

The 3 1/2 qt. Bain Marie met specific measurement requirements and is stainless steel. After several uses of the Bain Marie, It's been noticed there's a tiny spot in the bottom that, hopefully, isn't a flaw in the stainless. Was of the impression that, under reasonable use, stainless steel would survive for years. Will continue to watch and hope the spot doesn't increase in size or depth.
