Tongshi - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H1RGXTN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 These 2 sets have the same width and height (7.08” square), but this trivet is a little bit thicker. This unit price for this trivet is almost double of Tongshi’s. But its quality is superb. No dark spots or rough areas on both trivets I received. Smooth throughout the entire trivets including the holes. Tongshi’s quality is not as good as this trivets. But its edge is rounded, and comes with pads, it’s easier to lift them off the table than this trivet.

I was concerned about them getting burnt as stated in some other reviews, so I never went directly from the oven or hot stove onto them. I'd let the pot or baking dish sit for a couple of minutes, and I had no issues. They look great, and they don't slide on me because I only use them as a way to cool down pots and dishes on top of a marble kitchen counter. I've used wood trivets that had grip pads on them, and at least for my purposes, I didn't notice much of a difference with them moving. Maybe it's because I am picking/placing the pot/dish up straight up and down, not sure.

These are both useful and decorative. Thick enough to protect surfaces. Easy to wipe off with wet cloth — I would avoid submerging or putting in the dishwasher.

I use these when putting hot dishes from the oven on to the kitchen table. I like that they are thicker than other trivets I've found. I feel like they protect the table better. They are good up to 400 degrees (others were 350). The only negative is that they have a shiny/slick lacquer coating. You have to be careful or the hot dish can slide right off. Sometimes I put a rubber hot pad between the dish and the trivet to keep it from sliding off. That's the reason I pulled off 1 star.

So I like this purchase. It is very handy around my kitchen countertop. For starters, I like the size. And I like the color. And I like the small décor at the side. It is small enough to move around my kitchen space effortlessly and it coordinates with my knife set block. I keep one permanently under my kettle. And the other below my microwave. Very satisfied.

These are great. I mainly cook with cast iron. They're obviously burnt already but that's what they're meant for. These should last me a year to a year and a half.

These hot pads are HUGE. I was expecting maybe 2/3 of it's size but was pleasantly surprised. We love the look of the wood and have had no issues of any kind. The simple style is exactly what I was looking for and I couldn't be happier!

These are thick, attractive trivets that work well and are easy to clean. They're solid and support a lot of weight without any problem, and leave surfaces scratch free.
