Strangely these are now the most used items in my workshop. I use them as a mat, and anvil, a spacer, a smasher, never knew how useful these were. Great purchase for a low price.

Used mine for eye bolt backing plates
Used as backing plates for my truck camper bed tie downs. I painted to help prevent rust and drilled a hole for my eye bolts.

6 X 6 steel plates (four)
These steel plates are exactly what I needed to make an access cover on a vw bug tunnel, and for dual carburetor access covers at each side rear wheel wells. The plates are 1/8 inch thick which is overkill for there intended usages, but I'd rather that then have it flimsy or weak. They will need to be painted or powdercoated because they are bare steel and will rust if not treated accordingly. I bent the tunnel access cover to match the curvature of the tunnel and cut it down to match the existing opening. Thicker steel would not have been as easy to bend. The price was good and Amazon shipping fast as usual.
