Can i use this for joining laminate flooring

I would say as long as the 2 sides you are joining are at the same level then these should be ok.

How many of these do you need for 4 standard size doors

It is 1metre long or 100cm - bigger than all standard doors which are usually between 70 and 80cm. so you have to cet a bit off.

Does carpet bar have recess so screws don't protrude

Hi. Not fitted, but bars have counter sunk holes and came with Counter sunk screws and rawl plugs so should be fine!
