These are great!

If you're looking for a supplemental math program, these Singapore math workbooks are it. I wish they came with better parent instructions about how to use them in tandem, but overall, I'm very pleased. Our school uses Everyday Math, which does not teach basic multiplication and division algorithms. Singapore math is a straightforward approach all kids will understand and even better, all parents will be able to use to help their kids better understand math concepts.

Buy the Home Instructor Guide, Too!

I love the Primary Mathematics series. I would recommend that for grade 6, the parent also purchase the Primary Mathematics 6A & 6B Home Instructor Guide, unless you are already a really capable mathematician. The course work gets very advanced, very rapidly, and if you're not prepared, you will find yourself struggling to guide your child.
