A Simple Basic Voltmeter that works
I have an intermittent problem with my RV Fridge: Periodically it would not run but the repair shop can find no problem with the fridge itself. They suspected that it might be low 12V supply voltage but the batteries are supplying 12.5 Volts. For monitoring purposes, my husband installed this voltmeter on the 12V supply to the fridge. It was a simple quick installation. He drilled a hole to pass the wires into the base cabinet with the fridge and spliced the wires to the fridge power wires. Using 2-sided tape, the voltmeter was mounted on the surface of the cabinet. The next time the fridge doesn't work, we will know if there is a power supply voltage problem. An added bonus: we will know if the RV coach power was disconnected accidentally because the voltmeter will be off. The voltmeter is very good quality and we like the simply installation.
