That's exactly what it's supposed to do.
This actually worked really well. It was easy to use and took very brief exposure with an iron to make it stick. A nice inexpensive fix for my work shirt with plenty to spare. Thanks.

Great patches
I wanted to wait a bit before writing my review so I could see how these held up through months of wear and washing. I’m happy to report that they were 1. Easy to apply and 2. Have held up wonderfully to wear and washing. No falling off or peeling back at corners. Very happy to have saved a couple pairs of leggings which had small holes develop where the pockets attach.

Use it for any repair, but quite thick
I tripped at work and ripped a hole in pants where my knee is, so instead of stitching (which I don't know very well how to do) I used these patches and for the most part I'm very satisfied. I used an entire patch on the inside because it's black and my pants are gray and it would look incredibly tacky, but it's help up very well and the patch isn't coming off at all after a few days of application. However, the patch is quite thick and my pants are pretty thin so there's a hard part of my pants on the knee and it's kind of annoying and looks weird (see pictures). I probably could have cut the patch to not be so big and I have yet to wash these pants and I don't know if washing them will soften the patch and make it look more natural, but I will update this review if it softens after a wash. If you're using this patch on thin clothing like a t-shirt or thin pants, I would try to get something less sturdy unless you're okay with it.. But overall, very satisfied.

5 stars after 15 months of use.
I repaired the failing crotch seams on 3 pairs of pants. I wear these daily for work in restaurants.bThe patches have held up incredibly through lots of use and dozens of washes. I was concerned about using high heat on the iron with the synthetic fabric, and it did cause a very slight change in appearance. Didn't matter because the patched area was out of sight. I'm applying more of these patches today because the original seams are continuing to fail. I'm very pleased; I had tried several other ways to sew or patch without success.

Not recommended for sun or wind
Although way to cut and adhere, it's not great for exterior use. We used on a boat cover and within 2 weeks it was completely faded to a lighter grey and edges are peeling. Will likely need to replace with another brand next season.

Prevent nipple chaffing
Great and easy to use. My first time using iron on anything. My intent was to make the back of the broidered patch smooth for my young son and avoid wearing an additional undershirt/tank on hot day to protect him from chaffing. Since this is his uniform I want to make it as comfortable as possible putting on the patch. PRO TIP* be sure to cut the extra white fabric around the embroidery bc the black sticky side will on stick to that and "flop" and no necessarily stick to the fabric. This picture it was precut but I found that out the hard way after doing one but I have 7 shirts and I worked fine the rest of the shirts and went on flush to the fabric using iron NO STEAM function. Directions are on package and easy to understand. Haven't washed yet so if it doesn't hold up I'll update.

The ZEFFFKA Fabric Iron-On Patches have truly been a lifesaver for me! As a mom of a very active 8-year-old boy, I’ve lost count of how many pairs of pants have ended up with holes in the knees from all his climbing, running, and rough-and-tumble play. Instead of constantly buying new pants, these patches have helped me extend the life of his wardrobe — and save money! The quality of these patches really impressed me. The fabric is thick, durable, and feels strong enough to handle daily wear, even for a kid who practically lives on the playground. They iron on smoothly without much fuss, and once attached, they stay in place extremely well — no peeling at the edges or lifting, even after multiple washes and trips through the dryer. The size is perfect for covering up both small holes and larger worn-out spots, and if needed, they’re easy to trim down to fit awkward shapes or smaller areas. Not only have these patches saved his favorite pants from being tossed out, but they’ve also held up to all the energy my son throws at them. If you have kids who are tough on their clothes or even if you just want to give older garments a second life, I highly recommend giving these a try. Practical, affordable, and reliable — these patches are a simple solution that really works!
