Biogreen JP Jumbo Propagator

Posted very quickly, large, does have a heat mat on box, but it DOES not come with heat mat. Well made I love it

Our previous cover became damaged in use, so we were pleased to be able to buy a replacement. The Jumbo Propagator is a very useful addition to our gardening equipment.

Do not buy this product. It is advertised as a heated propagator but there is no heating mat included. The box shows the contents include a heating mat, but it was absent. I bought this in the autumn and have only just opened the ox to use it in the greenhouse to start early seedlings only to find it cannot be used for this purpose. Maybe the difference in price to equivalent propagators should have warned me, but it was advertised so I took it on trust.

Jumbo XXL propagator complete with heating mat & digital thermostat as stated on the box anD instruction manual. Problem is there is no mat or thermostat. Frame is cheap and cheerful and unlikely to last particularly if you add 50cm of sand to the cloth base. Seems there have been similar reviews since 2012 so much for German engineering. A con, buy a cloche from B&aqua.

I was very dissapointed to find that this is NOT a heated propagator, although the description states otherwise (02/11/2012). The box it came in is also misleading as it shows the heatmat and states one is supplied! Further more the only documentaion enclosed is for the non exsistant heatmat! After three attempts to solve the problem I have convinced Amazon that the technical data for this item is wrong. If you want a heated one you need to spend £109 on the JP H/GB model. Amazon has stated that the correct department has been notified to amend the incorrect description.

Just what I was looking for to replace old home made one. Looking forward to using it in early 2014

Ich benutze das Gewächshaus zur Jungpflanzenanzucht auf dem Balkon und nehme es dann wieder auseinander, wenn alles ausgepflanzt ist. Entgegen meiner Bestellung habe ich auch die Variante mit der Heizmatte und dem Thermostat bekommen, also NICHT die Einfachvariante hier, die ich eigentlich gekauft hatte - umgekehrt wäre es aber deutlich ärgerlicher gewesen. :-) Aber da ich bereits die kleine Variante habe, wollte ich mit deren Heizmatte arbeiten, was ich mir nun sparen kann. Wie aber nicht anders zu erwarten, muss man bei so geschlossenen Folienhäusern die Temperatur im Blick behalten, es kann leicht im März bei Sonnenschein 30° C warm werden, was dann automatisch zu langen dünnen Pflanzen führt. Den allermeisten Gemüsen reicht es völlig, wenn sie reichlich frostgeschützt werden und den Rest die Sonne übernimmt. Ich versuche immer, die Pflanzen vor Temperaturen über 25°C zu bewahren. Das habe ich mit den Seitenteilen dieser Tüte gut geschafft. Im kommenden Frühjahr zieht die nächste Ladung Tomaten ein.

Je suis très satisfaite de cette mini serre qui est encore dans mon salon à fin avril du aux températures imprévisibles de ce printemps. En revanche, je regardais pour acheter le tapis chauffant (qui est très cher - je vais regarder chez la concurrence d'abord) et j'ai remarqué que les dimensions affichées actuellement pour ce produit sont complètement fausses. Elle fait en réalité 132 x 64 x 47 cms au cas où vous n'auriez pas cette surface à lui consacrer. Sinon, c'est un très bon produit, qui durera de nombreuses années je pense.

facile da montare, abbastanza solido e pratico, la rete metallica sostiene pesi anche elevati (vasi da10 l), il tappettino riscaldante funziona bene

Die Idee ist gut und die Rahmenkonstruktion ordentlich aus Alu und Konststoff ausgeführt. Die verwendete Folie für das Dach eignet sich aber leider nicht für draußen. Nach 8 Monaten im Freien ist sie bereits so brüchig, dass die Nahtstelle zu den Textilreißverschlüssen an mehreren Stellen ausgerissen ist. Gleichzeitig ist das satte dunkelgrün der Textilstreifen hellgrün geworden. Insgesamt daher absolut keine Empfehlung.
